By accepting this ticket you confirm that you have read and understand THE LONGAN FARM SAFETY RULES

1. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times
2. Keep children away from the farm dams
3. When not using cutters, keep them locked closed. Be careful when cutting branches and ensure fingers are well away from the cutting edge
4. Do not allow children UNDER 15 YEARS OF AGE to use cutters
5. Do not go outside designated areas.
6. Do not lift heavy boxes or bags. See staff for assistance
7. Keep well away from moving machinery (eg. tractor, utility)
8. Be careful to avoid injury and do not run. There are uneven surfaces in the orchard and if wet, the ground may be slippery
9. Be extremely careful not to trip on the ground wires in some longan blocks. In some longan blocks there are wires running along the ground to hold the nets down.
10. Keep a close eye out for any undesirable “visitors” such as wasps, spiders and snakes and please report any sightings to the management.
11. Avoid going into the internal tree canopy. Twigs may be hard to see and could cause eye injury. Use of safety glasses is recommended if going into the internal tree canopy.
12. Ensure you have good sun protection (hat and sunscreen) and drink water regularly.
13. Ensure children are supervised at all times. There are unfenced water storages on farm.
14. Cars are parked at owner’s risk. We take no responsibility for loss or damage.
15. Drivers - watch for pedestrians and particularly children when reversing.
16. We take no responsibility for injury to persons or damage or loss to property.
