1. Booking & Payment
• Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a deposit as specified.
• Prices are listed in AUD and include GST unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellations & Refunds
Participant cancellation:
• Cancellations: Bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may be able to transfer ticket to another scheduled clinic
• No-shows or late arrivals: No refund or reschedule.
• Organiser cancellation (Weather: Clinics are subject to weather conditions. In the event of unsafe weather, clinics may be rescheduled or cancelled at Recfishwest’s discretion.)

3. Licensing & Legal Requirements
• Participants are responsible for holding valid Recreational Fishing Licences where required (it will be stated in booking description if, and what, licence is required)
• All fishing activities must comply with WA recreational fishing laws including bag, size, and seasonal limits.

4. Health, Safety & Risk
• All participants must:
o Follow instructor directions at all times.
o Wear appropriate clothing, sun protection, and footwear.
o Inform organisers of any medical conditions or allergies before the event.
• First aid will be available; serious incidents will follow emergency response protocols.
• Participation involves inherent risks (e.g. injury, sun exposure, fish spines, hooks). You participate at your own risk.

5. Weather & Conditions
• Fishing clinics may be postponed, cancelled, or modified due to:
o Unsafe weather (high winds, storms, swell).
o Dangerous site conditions (e.g. high tide, slippery rocks).
• We aim to notify you at least 24 hours in advance in case of changes.

6. Equipment & Personal Belongings
• Equipment provided (if any) will be listed on the booking page. You are responsible for:
o Careful use of any provided gear.
o Bringing personal items: water bottle, sunscreen, medication, etc.
• We are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during the clinic.
• Liability: While all care is taken to provide a safe environment, Recfishwest accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury sustained during the clinic, except where required by law.

7. Children & Supervision
• Supervision: Parents/guardians must remain responsible for their children at all times during the clinic and are required to stay on site for the duration of the session.
• Parent/guardian must give written consent for all participants under 18.
• Our clinics are not childcare services—active adult supervision is required.

8. Conduct & Behaviour
• We reserve the right to remove participants without refund for:
o Unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or illegal behaviour.
o Refusal to follow safety or fishing rules.

9. Photos, Media & Privacy
• We may take photos/videos during clinics for promotional use (e.g. website, social media).
• If you or your child do not wish to appear in any media, please notify us before the clinic.
• Personal information is handled in accordance with Australian privacy laws.

10. Liability Waiver
• To the maximum extent permitted by law:
o We are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the clinic.
o This includes but is not limited to: trips, slips, fish-related injuries, equipment misuse, or environmental hazards.

11. Force Majeure
• We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, illness, government restrictions).

12. Acceptance of Terms
By booking and/or attending the fishing clinic, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
