Terms and Conditions  −  Glen Eira Winter Teen School Holiday Program 2026

All bookings once made are considered final, non-transferable and non-refundable, subject to clause 4 of these terms and conditions.

Any payment made through the TryBooking website is subject to the terms and conditions of use of that site. Glen Eira City Council accepts no responsibility for any payment or other usage made of the TryBooking site and is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from use of that site.

Booking are only confirmed where:
• a completed 2026 Teen School Holiday Program participation form has been received; and
• all required waivers have been submitted to Glen Eira Youth Services
by the bookings closure date.

You are responsible for ensuring all information provided is accurate and kept up to date. Updates can be made by contacting the Youth Services Team at 9524 3273 or youthservices@gleneira.vic.gov.au.

Eligibility

Participants must be aged 12-17 years and live, work or study in the City of Glen Eira.

General Conditions

By registering your child, to attend the City of Glen Eira School Holiday Program, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. You are the participants parent or guardian.

2. When requested by Council, an exclusion of liability form must be completed by you in full, signed and dated and submitted to Council prior to the scheduled date of the Program activity.

3. Acting reasonably in the circumstances, Council reserves the right to:

- refuse an application for participation in the Program;
- cancel or change the Program and/or the Program activities at any time.

4. Where Council cancels or changes the Program/Program activity in accordance with clause 3, you will be offered a full refund of any Program activity fee.

5. You are responsible for assessing whether the Program activity is suitable for your child.

6. You acknowledge that there may be a degree of risk in the Program activities.

7. You acknowledge that Program leaders are not medically trained and are not permitted to administer medication.


8. Where your child requires medication, you acknowledge that you are responsible for administering their medication or for ensuring that your child is responsible for, and capable of, administering their own medication.

9. Participants must behave in a safe and respectful manner at all times. If your child fails to comply with instructions or displays inappropriate or disruptive behaviour, Council may prohibit them from continuing to participate in the Program activity, and they may be excluded from any further Program activities. You must immediately make arrangements to collect your child if directed by Council.

10. In the event of accident or illness, you authorise Council staff to obtain all necessary medical advice/treatment and ambulance/hospital services for your child.

11. You are responsible for all costs associated with any medical advice/treatment and/or ambulance/hospital services obtained by Council staff in accordance with clause 10 of these terms and conditions.

12. Your child must not attend a Program activity if they have an infectious disease or are showing symptoms of one. Council may refuse attendance where they appear unwell or shows symptoms of an infectious disease

13. If your child suffers an accident or illness that prevents continued participation in the Program, or shows signs of an infectious illness, you agree to arrange to collect your child immediately on request by Council.

14. You must drop off and pick up your child (under 18) at the location and at the times advised by Council. You acknowledge that you will sign in and sign out your child unless otherwise agreed with Council.

15. Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings.

16. To the extent permitted by law, you acknowledge that Council is not liable for any personal injury, property loss or damage sustained by you or your child as a result of your child’s participation in the Program, except to the extent such loss, injury or damage is caused or contributed to by the negligent acts or omissions of Council, its employees or its officers.

The personal information requested is required primarily to administer and deliver the service referred to on this form, including participation in Council run school holiday programs.

In some cases, activities forming part of the program may be delivered by third party service providers or delivered at a third-party venue. Where this occurs, relevant personal information (such as a parent or guardian’s name, the child’s name and emergency contact details) may be shared with those service providers only to the extent necessary to deliver the activity.


TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
