By completing your child’s booking for this Program, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. By ticking the box and processing your booking, you are confirming that you consent to your child participating in the activities at this Program, and that you accept the risks involved.
Should you wish to refer back to these Terms and Conditions after booking, you will find them included on your ticket.

- Nurtured Learning may contact you via email about the program you have booked.
- Upon ticket purchase, you will receive an email providing further information about the program you have booked.
- Minimum participant numbers apply for the program you have booked. Nurtured Learning reserves the right to cancel the program and provide a refund for all bookings in the event that the minimum participant numbers are not reached.
- Cancellation: To help plan a smooth and enjoyable program, refunds are not available if your child is unable to attend a session. In this case, a session summary is available via email, on request. If you need to cancel your child's enrolment in the program prior to the commencement of the program, the following conditions will apply:
* Cancellation more than one week prior to the scheduled start time of the first program session: full refund of booking amount paid, less 20%
* Cancellation between one week and 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the first program session: 50% refund of booking amount paid
* Cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled start time of the first program session: booking payment forfeited
- You agree to provide Nurtured Learning with any information that is relevant to the care of your child, including information about medical needs, dietary requirements and other personal needs. This includes any information that may arise after booking.
- You agree to collect your child from their session if they are unwell or displaying unsafe behaviour.
- You acknowledge that there is a qualified First Aid attendant on site at all Nurtured Learning programs and hereby consent for your child to receive medical treatment, including transportation to a doctor or hospital, which may be deemed necessary in the event of injury, accident, or illness during the activity.
- You acknowledge that should your child sustain an injury or have an accident that requires First Aid treatment during their session, Nurtured Learning will contact you as soon as practicable. You understand that you may be asked to make a decision regarding whether your child will continue to participate in the program or be collected. Regardless of whether your child continues participation, you agree to review and sign an Accident and Incident Report form at the conclusion of your child’s session for any incident requiring First Aid treatment.
Safety Measures
Nurtured Learning will provide safety demonstrations, supervision, and take all reasonable precautions to reduce the risk of injury during all activities. Despite these measures, participation in all Program activities carries inherent risks, and some injuries or incidents may still occur.
General Participation Risks
- Tree climbing is not allowed during any Nurtured Learning programs. Nurtured Learning will not be responsible for any injuries that result from tree climbing.
- Participation in program activities may expose your child to a range of possible risks or injuries, including but not limited to:
• Slips, trips, or falls on uneven surfaces, playground equipment, or indoor/outdoor areas
• Bumps, bruises, scratches, or cuts from running, climbing, or general play
• Insect bites or stings, minor reactions to plants, or other outdoor environmental hazards
• Allergic reactions or minor irritations
• Sun exposure, heat-related illness, or dehydration
• Contact with other children or materials that may result in minor injuries
• Accidental collisions or incidental contact during group activities
Cooking and Food Activities Specific Risks
You understand that participation in cooking activities may involve additional risks, including but not limited to:
• Burns, scalds, or contact with hot surfaces, appliances, or liquids
• Cuts or lacerations from knives, peelers, graters, scissors, and other kitchen equipment
• Slips, trips, or falls due to wet or slippery floors, or ingredients on the floor
• Allergic reactions or food-related illness, including cross-contamination
• Mess, stains, or damage to clothing from ingredients or materials
• Sensory or environmental triggers, including smells, textures, or sounds
• Minor injuries such as bumps, bruises, or scrapes
Release and Waiver
You release, waive, and fully discharge Nurtured Learning from any and all claims, demands, obligations, and liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever arising from or connected, directly or indirectly, with participation in a Nurtured Learning program, including any cause whatsoever such as negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty. This release extends to and includes Nurtured Learning and the event organiser, partners, managers, officers, agents, contractors, volunteers (including medical and paramedical personnel), and the owners, licensees, or occupiers of the premises used for the activity. This release and indemnity continues forever and binds your heirs, executors, personal representatives, and assigns.

• Confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions
• Consent to your child participating in the activities described
• Accept the risks involved in both general program activities and cooking / food specific activities
