Kids School Tennis Holiday Program – Participant Guidelines
To ensure all children have a safe, fun, and positive experience, please read the following guidelines carefully:
1. Arrival & Departure
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the session starts to allow time for check-in and any questions.
Parents/guardians must sign children in and out at the designated area.
Children are not permitted to leave the program area without a supervising adult.
Coaches must be informed if a child is being collected by an alternative adult not listed at registration.
2. What to Bring
Tennis racquet (if you have one – equipment is also available)
Hat, sunscreen, and drink bottle (stay sun-safe!)
Comfortable sports clothing and non-marking shoes (no studded shoes)
3. Safety & Behaviour
Children are expected to listen to coaches and follow instructions at all times.
Respect for others is essential — bullying or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
Coaches reserve the right to remove participants from activities if behaviour poses a risk.
Safety vests are provided on arrival and must be worn for the duration of the session.
4. Sun Safety & Hydration
Hats must be worn during outdoor activities
Please apply sunscreen before arrival; additional sunscreen will be available for reapplication.
Regular water breaks will be provided — children are encouraged to stay well hydrated.
5. Medical Needs & Allergies
Please inform coaches of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications prior to the program.
Any required medication must be clearly labelled and given to a coach with instructions.
6. Equipment & Personal Belongings
Coaches are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Please label all belongings clearly.
7. Program Changes & Cancellations
Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be issued; however, a make-up class will be offered where possible. Parents/guardians will be notified via email or phone if changes occur.
