Event Booking Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all events booked through TryBooking for events held at Club Five Dock RSL. By completing a booking, you agree to the following.
1. Bookings and Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received and a confirmation email issued. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Booking and transaction fees charged by TryBooking are non-refundable.
2. Refunds, Cancellations and Transfers
Refunds may be requested and processed up to 7 days prior to the event date. Refund requests received within 7 days of the event will not be approved, except where required by law. All refund requests must be submitted in writing. Where a refund is approved, booking and transaction fees are non-refundable. Tickets are non-transferable unless expressly stated on the event page. Failure to attend an event, including due to illness, personal circumstances, or scheduling conflicts, does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund. No refunds will be provided for dissatisfaction with performers, menus, seating, or other subjective aspects of an event.
3. Event Changes or Cancellation by the Club
Club Five Dock RSL reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or vary event details, including date, time, performer, menu, or location within the club. If an event is cancelled by the club, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid, excluding booking fees unless required by law. The club is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by patrons.
4. Entry Conditions and Behaviour
Entry is subject to Club Five Dock RSL’s rules, policies, and conditions of entry. Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any patron who is intoxicated, disorderly, or in breach of club rules, without refund. Valid photo identification may be required. NSW liquor and gaming laws apply at all times.
5. Minors
Events may be restricted to patrons aged 18 years and over unless otherwise stated. Where minors are permitted, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Proof of age may be required.
6. Seating and Accessibility
Seating is subject to availability and may be allocated or adjusted at the club’s discretion unless otherwise specified. Patrons requiring accessibility assistance should notify the club at the time of booking.
7. Photography and Video Recording
Photography and video recording may take place during events. By attending, patrons consent to being photographed or recorded and acknowledge that images or footage may be used by Club Five Dock RSL for promotional, marketing, or social media purposes. Patrons who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should notify club management on arrival.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected through TryBooking is used for event administration and related club communications and is handled in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles. TryBooking’s Privacy Policy also applies.
9. Liability
Patrons attend events at their own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Club Five Dock RSL is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained while attending an event. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Force Majeure
The club is not responsible for event cancellation or changes due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including government restrictions, public health orders, extreme weather, or emergencies.
11. Acceptance
By completing a booking, patrons confirm they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
