Communication:
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to receive event-related information and updates by email from the Event Organiser.

Refund Policy:
Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled tour will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of the event start time or for non-attendance.

Minimum Numbers:
Tours require a minimum of four (4) participants to proceed. If minimum numbers are not met, the tour may be rescheduled or postponed. In this case, ticket holders will be offered the option to transfer their booking to a new date or receive a full refund.
Eligibility & Inclusivity:
These tours are part of a campaign to encourage the use of free weekend travel for Seniors Myki card holders. While the content and pacing are designed with Seniors Myki holders in mind, all participants are welcome to attend, including those travelling on a full fare or other ticket types.

Mobility & Walking Requirements:
We aim to make these tours as accessible and welcoming as possible for all participants. Participants should be comfortable walking for extended periods at a reasonably steady pace, standing at times, and navigating paved city streets. If you use mobility aids such as a walking stick, wheelchair, or mobility scooter, please let us know when booking so the tour guide can plan the best route. If you’re unsure whether this tour is right for you, please contact us before booking.

Carers & Support Persons:
Carers, companions and translators are very welcome to join the tour to support participants. A complimentary place is available for Carer Card holders. Please let us know at the time of booking so we can plan group numbers and ensure everyone has a comfortable experience.

Partnership Notice:
These walking tours are a collaborative partnership between Transport Victoria, Seniors in Melbourne and tour guide Paul Daffey. Transport Victoria and Seniors in Melbourne only assist with bookings and promotion, while all tours are owned, conducted and operated by Paul Daffey.

Weather Conditions:
The tour will go ahead in all conditions (unless extreme): rain, hail or heat. During the tour, the guide will find suitable locations in which to maintain your comfort, including undercover spots where necessary.

Photography:
Please note that photos will be taken during the event for use in reporting and sharing on social media. If you do not wish to be included in any photos, please let us know upon booking or by emailing info@seniorsinmelbourne.com.au

Liability:
Participants attend at their own risk. The Event Organiser accepts no responsibility for loss, injury, or damage sustained during the tour.

Refreshments:
This tour includes a light morning or afternoon tea at a local café or venue in Bendigo. This will include a hot drink (tea or coffee) and a light snack.

If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking. While we will do our best to accommodate requests, options may be limited.

Please note that additional food or beverages outside of the provided offering will be at your own expense.
