Group Training Sessions – Terms & Conditions
No Refund Policy
No refunds will be provided for change of mind, missed sessions, late arrivals, or inability to attend.
Missed sessions cannot be credited, transferred, or made up.
All group training fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
By enrolling, participants acknowledge and accept that all payments are final.

Grace Basketball Cancellations

If Grace Basketball is required to cancel or postpone a session, best efforts will be made to reschedule.
If rescheduling is not possible, a session credit or refund will be issued.

Terms & Conditions
Definitions
“Activities” means all basketball training sessions, coaching, programs, competitions, and associated activities conducted by Grace Basketball.

“CCA” means the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

“Damage” includes death, injury (physical or mental), aggravation, acceleration, or recurrence of injury, as defined under the CCA.

Participation Requirements
This document must be completed by all participants.
A parent or legal guardian must complete this document on behalf of any participant under 18 years of age.
Participants acknowledge that the activities are recreational and physically demanding, involving inherent risk of injury.
Participants must disclose any medical condition, injury, or illness that could impact their ability to safely participate.

Acknowledgement of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in Grace Basketball activities involves physical exertion and risk, including potential injury, loss, damage, or expense.
I agree to participate at my own risk and release Grace Basketball from legal responsibility to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I agree to follow all rules, safety instructions, and directions given by Grace Basketball staff. Failure to comply may result in removal from sessions without refund.

Waiver and Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I waive and release Grace Basketball, its directors, staff, coaches, contractors, and volunteers (“Indemnified Parties”) from all liability for:

Injury
Loss
Damage
Cost or expense
arising from participation in the activities or use of facilities.
I agree to indemnify Grace Basketball against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses resulting from my actions or negligence.

Disclosure

I confirm that:
I do not suffer from any physical, mental, or medical condition that would prevent safe participation.
I have fully disclosed any relevant pre-existing injuries or medical conditions.

Warranty

I warrant that:
I am not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
I have adequate fitness and health to participate safely.
Medical Consent

I consent to Grace Basketball seeking emergency medical treatment on my behalf if required.
I accept responsibility for any medical costs incurred.

Media Release
I consent to Grace Basketball using photographs and video recordings of me for promotional and marketing purposes, including:

Website
Social media
Promotional materials

I understand that Grace Basketball retains full ownership and copyright of all recordings.

Session Changes & Cancellations
Grace Basketball reserves the right to cancel or postpone sessions due to unforeseen circumstances including (but not limited to):
Facility unavailability
Staff illness
Extreme weather
Government restrictions
Where possible, sessions will be rescheduled or credited.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
