Rose Bay FC – Terms and Conditions

Program Name: Rose Bay FC Academy

Organised by: Rose Bay FC in collaboration with Top Squad Soccer Academy

1. Program Overview

Rose Bay FC offers students the opportunity to participate in structured soccer training and the goal is to form teams to participate in competitions when the time comes. This program aims to promote fitness, sportsmanship and skill development in a safe and inclusive environment.

2. Eligibility

• Open to currently enrolled Y7, Y8 and Y9 students at RBSC.

• Players must maintain good sportsmanship and appropriate behaviour to remain in the program.

• All players must be medically fit to participate and may be required to provide a medical clearance.

3. Registration & Consent

• Each player must be registered via the official Rose Bay FC registration form.

• A parent/guardian must sign the consent form and provide emergency contact details.

• Registration is only confirmed upon receipt of all forms and payment (if applicable).

4. Player Conduct

Players must:

• Show respect to coaches, referees, teammates and opponents.

• Avoid inappropriate language, fighting and unsportsmanlike behaviour.

• Follow instructions from staff and adhere to training and match schedules.

Breaches of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion.

5. Parent & Spectator Behaviour

Parents and spectators are expected to:

• Support players positively without directing or coaching from the sidelines.

• Refrain from confrontational or abusive behavior toward officials, coaches, or players.

• Follow the club’s child safety and respect policies.

6. Attendance & Commitment

• Rose Bay FC players are expected to attend their training sessions.

• Repeated absences without valid reason may affect selection for games or events.

7. Uniforms & Equipment

• Players must wear the RBSC school uniform at training and Rose Bay FC match uniform kit when the time comes for matches.

• Soccer boots, shin guards and appropriate sportswear are mandatory for participation.

• Players and parents are responsible for care of issued equipment and uniforms.

8. Health & Safety

• Any injuries, allergies, or medical conditions must be disclosed at registration.

• RBSC and Rose Bay FC will administer basic first aid when needed and contact emergency services if necessary.

• Participation is voluntary and involves inherent risks associated with physical activity.

9. Insurance & Liability

• Rose Bay FC is covered by RBSC general liability insurance; however, families are encouraged to maintain personal medical coverage.

• The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items during training or matches.

10. Media Consent

• Photos and videos of players may be taken during training and matches and used for club promotion (social media, newsletters, website).

• Parents who do not consent must submit a written opt-out request to the club coordinator.

11. Travel & Off-Site Matches

• Travel for games will require parent transportation.

• A signed permission slip is required for each off-campus event.

• Rose Bay FC is not responsible for players outside scheduled training/game times.

12. Termination of Participation

The Club reserves the right to remove a player from the program due to:

• Continued misconduct or rule violations

• Medical conditions preventing safe participation

13. Amendments

Rose Bay FC may revise these Terms at any time. Notification of major updates will be provided via email or club communication channels.

By registering for Rose Bay FC Academy I acknowledge that I have read and understood the above Terms and Conditions and agree to comply.
