These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made for Spirit of Neptune – Bead & Sip Workshops ("Workshop", "Event", "we", "us", "our"). By purchasing a ticket via Eventbrite or any authorised booking platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Key Information:
- Full payment is required at the time of booking
- Tickets are non-refundable in the event of a change of mind
- Tickets may be transferred to another attendee with prior notice
- This is an 18+ event where alcohol is served
- The organiser reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the workshop if necessary
1. Bookings and Payment
1.1 All bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
1.2 Payment must be made in full at the time of booking in order to secure a place in the workshop.
1.3 All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include standard workshop materials unless otherwise specified.
1.4 We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or void any booking where inaccurate, misleading, fraudulent, or inappropriate information has been provided.
2. Cancellations And Refunds
2.1 Change of Mind
Tickets are non-refundable in the event of a change of mind, inability to attend, or personal circumstances. This policy is consistent with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2.2 Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another person provided written notice is received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled event. All transfers are subject to approval.
2.3 Event Cancellation or Significant Changes
If we cancel the workshop or make a significant change to the date, time, or location, ticket holders will be offered either:
- A full refund, or
- The option to transfer their booking to a future workshop.
3. Rescheduling Requests
3.1 Requests to reschedule a booking must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled workshop.
3.2 Rescheduling is subject to availability and may be permitted on one occasion only.
3.3 No rescheduling or credit will be offered in the event of non-attendance.
4. Attendance and Late Arrival
4.1 Participants are requested to arrive 10–15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
4.2 Late arrival may result in missed instructions or reduced participation time.
4.3 Refunds or partial refunds will not be provided for late arrival, early departure, or incomplete participation.
5. Age Restrictions and Alcohol Consumption
5.1 Workshops where alcohol is served are strictly limited to persons aged 18 years and over.
5.2 Valid photographic identification may be requested by the venue or organiser.
5.3 Alcohol consumption is optional and must be undertaken responsibly. We reserve the right to refuse service or participation to any individual who appears intoxicated or behaves in an unsafe or inappropriate manner.
5.4 The workshop is held at a venue that does not supply alcohol. The venue operates under a Bring Your Own (BYO) arrangement. Attendees are responsible for supplying, transporting, and consuming their own alcohol in accordance with venue rules and all applicable laws.
5.5 Responsible consumption of alcohol is required at all times. A refrigerator is available on-site for the storage of BYO beverages, and glassware may be provided where required. We reserve the right to limit or refuse alcohol consumption where behaviour becomes unsafe, disruptive, or non-compliant with responsible service expectations.
5.6 The organiser and venue reserve the right to impose reasonable restrictions on the type and quantity of alcohol brought into the venue, including limitations on glass containers, where required for safety or licensing compliance. Attendees must comply with all directions issued by the organiser or venue staff regarding alcohol consumption.
6. Health, Safety, and Liability
6.1 Participation in the workshop is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.
6.2 Workshops involve the use of small beads, jewellery-making tools, and materials, which require appropriate care and attention.
6.3 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Personal injury or illness
- Allergic reactions
- Loss of or damage to personal property
6.4 By attending, you confirm that you are physically and medically fit to participate in the workshop activities.
7. Materials, Add-Ons, and Premium Inclusions
7.1 Standard workshop materials are included in the ticket price.
7.2 Optional add-ons or premium materials (including, but not limited to, gemstones, precious metals, or extended instruction) may be offered at an additional cost.
7.3 Add-ons are non-refundable once selected, allocated, or used.
7.4 Premium materials are subject to availability and are not guaranteed unless expressly included in the ticket description.
8. Finished Pieces
8.1 Ownership and responsibility for any items created during the workshop transfer to the participant upon completion of the session.
8.2 We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to finished pieces after the workshop has concluded.
9. Photography and Marketing
9.1 Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the workshop for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes.
9.2 By attending the workshop, you consent to the use of your image unless you notify us in writing prior to the event.
10. Conduct and Right of Refusal
10.1 Participants are expected to behave respectfully and safely at all times.
10.2 We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.
11. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, venue closure, government restrictions, or emergency situations.
