Course Cancellation, Transfer & Refund Policy

The PCH Simulation Team recognises that clinical work and personal circumstances can be unpredictable. We aim to be fair and flexible while ensuring courses remain viable and places are used effectively.

1. Participant Cancellations
Up to 4 weeks prior to the course date: full refund or option to transfer to a future course date.
Less than 4 weeks prior to the course date: transfer to a future course will be offered where feasible; full refund will be provided only if the place can be filled. Where the place cannot be filled, a refund will be issued less an administrative fee to cover course costs already incurred.

2. Non-Attendance
Failure to attend without prior communication will not be eligible for refund or transfer.

3. Extenuating Circumstances
The PCH Simulation Team understands that genuine unforeseen circumstances occur (e.g. sick leave, carer responsibilities, unavoidable clinical requirements). Requests for consideration will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Course Cancellation by the Simulation Team
The PCH Simulation Team reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course if minimum participant numbers are not met or due to operational requirements. In this instance, participants will be offered a full refund or option to transfer to a future course date.
