The Bush Adventures program provides diverse opportunities for both children and adults to engage with the natural world and specifically Hobarts unique Bushland Reserves. Activities are designed to help build self-confidence and self-knowledge, grow relationships with others and enhance understanding of and connections with our natural world.

BY MAKING THIS BOOKING you are accepting the physically active nature and inherent risk to your child/children when involved in bushland/outdoor based activities. The Hobart City Council and employees are not liable for any claims, costs, actions or demands arising from my child/children participating in the Bush Adventures Program.

FOR ALL ACTIVITIES. Please bring a water bottle and a healthy snack. Always wear clothing suitable for the environment and conditions (Note the summit of kunanyi/Mt Wellington is an alpine environment and is generally 10-12 degrees cooler than in the city). For kids' activities, we recommend having a spare set of clothes in the case of water play/accidents.

ACTIVITY LOCATIONS. We do our best to provide clear information on where each activity will start. Please look out for the Bush Adventures Flag upon arriving and if you need assistance in finding a venue please call us on 6238-2886.

AGE APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES. Children can only be booked into Bush Adventures programs suitable to their age. Out of age siblings are welcome to attend free of charge but please note that activities are designed for specific age groups.

ACTIVITIES MAY BE CANCELLED in the event of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All booked participants will be notified via text or email in the case of cancellation. A refund or credit will be given if this occurs. In the case you are unable to attend a booked activity a refund can be given provided we receive 48 hrs notice via email or phone.
