Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sale

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of tickets to Boutique Music Theatre's Production of Matilda Jr (the “Event”). By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Ticket Purchase
All ticket purchases are subject to availability and confirmation of payment. It is your responsibility to review all details (including date, time, and ticket type) prior to completing your purchase.

2. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Ticket prices are as follows:
Adult: $40
Concession/Senior/Student: $38
Child: $35

A booking fee of $0.50 per ticket and a processing fee of 2.5% per transaction apply to all purchases. These fees will be disclosed prior to completion of the transaction.
We reserve the right to change ticket prices at any time prior to purchase.

3. Refunds and Exchanges
Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, tickets are non-refundable except where:

- the Event is cancelled; or
- there is a major change to the Event (as defined under applicable law).

Exchanges may be permitted at our discretion, subject to availability.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 or other applicable legislation.

4. Event Changes and Cancellation
We reserve the right to vary advertised programs, performance times, seating arrangements, or venue where reasonably necessary.
In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price. To the extent permitted by law, no compensation will be payable for any other loss or expense.

5. Entry and Attendance
A valid ticket must be presented for entry. The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive, without refund.
Late arrivals may be admitted at a suitable break in the performance.

6. Conditions of Entry
By attending the Event, you agree to comply with all venue policies and reasonable directions from staff.
No food or drink is permitted in the theatre or foyer, in accordance with venue requirements.
The Event may include theatrical effects such as loud noises or lighting effects. Attendees enter at their own discretion.

7. Photography and Recording
Photography, video, or audio recording of the Event is prohibited unless expressly authorised.

8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the organiser excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising in connection with the Event.

Where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

9. Privacy
Any personal information collected during the ticket purchase process will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and used only for the purpose of administering the Event.
