Cancellation, Refund & Booking Policy

Booking & Cancellation
Guests may cancel their own booking at any time via TryBooking or the booking platform used. Cancellations made more than 5 days before the experience receive a full refund minus a $10 admin fee. Cancellations 2–5 days prior receive a 60% refund; within 2 days or no-shows are not eligible for a refund. For late cancellations, guests must contact Halacal Farm – Lambs Valley immediately via email or phone; social media or text messages are not accepted. All cancellations are only valid once confirmed in writing. Refunds, rebookings, or discretionary adjustments for late cancellations are at our sole discretion, considering preparation, animal welfare, and other factors.

Cancellations by Halacal Farm – Lambs Valley
We may cancel a booking at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, duplicate bookings, or payment issues. Bookings may also be cancelled if severe weather, fire, flood, or other hazards pose a risk to guests or animals. If a booking is cancelled by us (except Force Majeure), a full refund will be issued. Guests who make genuine booking mistakes should contact us immediately. Guests acting in a way that endangers themselves, other guests, or animals may be removed with no refund.

Refunds
Refunds will be processed via the same payment method used for booking and typically take 5–10 business days. All bookings are processed through TryBooking; we cannot override platform policies or fees. Guests should retain confirmation emails as proof of refund. Partial or discretionary refunds for late cancellations or emergencies are at our discretion.

Farm Experience & Guest Expectations
Halacal Farm – Lambs Valley is a working farm with Highland cows, horses, dogs, and other wildlife. While we aim to make your experience safe and enjoyable, you may encounter animals behaving naturally, insects, snakes, hot sun, uneven ground, or farm smells. Guests are expected to come prepared and accept these aspects as part of a genuine farm experience. Refunds will not be issued for factors reasonably expected on a farm.

Emergency Incidents & Mid-Experience Changes
In the event of an emergency or unforeseen incident, we may modify or cancel the experience. All decisions regarding refunds, rebookings, or changes are at our sole discretion, taking into account guest safety and animal welfare.

Guest Responsibility & Liability
No bond or deposit is required. Guests are responsible for their own behaviour and safety, and must not damage property, harm animals, bring unauthorised pets or items, or act in a way that breaches the law, farm rules, or common sense. Guests may be removed immediately for breaches, with no refund, and may be required to cover reasonable costs for intentional damage or harm. Normal wear, minor mess, or unavoidable incidents related to being on a working farm are not charged.

Check-In & Late Arrivals
Guests must arrive on time; late arrivals may reduce visit duration but do not entitle the guest to a refund. Check-in times are confirmed in booking confirmations. If delayed, contact us via email or phone; we will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee extensions or refunds.

Definitions & Policy Changes
Halacal Farm – Lambs Valley refers to the Highland cow experience and picnic service at Halacal Farm – Lambs Valley – ABN 21 566 833 006. Force Majeure refers to events outside reasonable control, such as fire, flood, pandemic, or extreme weather. This Policy may be updated to protect guests and the business. Changes affecting confirmed bookings will be communicated promptly; all other updates apply to future bookings. Guests should review this Policy prior to booking and attending the experience.


TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
