Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)**
1. General
These Terms and Conditions apply to all attendees, participants, sponsors, and guests of the Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame (Inc) (AMAHOF) Presentation Awards Gala 2026 and associated events.
By purchasing a ticket or attending any part of the event, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

2. Event Scope
The event includes:
• Friday meetings (Sokeship Council and AGM – by invitation/membership eligibility)
• Saturday seminars
• Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation
• Sunday Masters Sessions
Each component may require separate ticketing.

3. Ticketing & Payment
• All ticket prices are listed in AUD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval from AMAHOF.
• Entry may be refused if valid proof of purchase cannot be provided.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy
• No refunds will be provided for change of mind less than 2 weeks prior to the Event.
• Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of AMAHOF (minus transaction fees).
• If the event is cancelled by AMAHOF, a full refund may be issued.
• AMAHOF is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or external costs incurred.

5. Event Changes
AMAHOF reserves the right to:
• Modify the event program, speakers, venues, or schedule without prior notice
• Substitute presenters or cancel sessions if required

6. Code of Conduct
All attendees must:
• Behave in a respectful and professional manner
• Comply with venue rules and applicable laws
• Follow directions from event organisers and staff
AMAHOF reserves the right to remove any attendee without refund for:
• Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour
• Harassment or misconduct
• Breach of AMAHOF policies
Alcohol & Substance Use: Alcohol will be served at Gala event at the cost of the guests. All attendees are expected to consume alcohol responsibly.
• Intoxication, disorderly conduct, aggressive behaviour, or any conduct that compromises the safety, comfort, or reputation of the event will not be tolerated.
• AMAHOF reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol and/or remove any attendee from the event without refund where such behaviour is observed.
• The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and may be referred to relevant authorities.

7. Health & Safety
• Attendees participate in all activities at their own risk
• Participants in seminars or physical activities must ensure they are medically fit
• AMAHOF accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage sustained during the event

8. Photography & Media
• The event may be photographed and recorded
• By attending, you consent to the use of your image for promotional and archival purposes
• No compensation will be provided for such use

9. Dress Code
• The Gala Dinner is a Black-Tie event.
• For all Seminar events, participants are requested to wear clean exercise clothing (e.g. martial arts attire, tracksuit, training clothes, etc) at a minimum.
• Attendees not meeting a minimum dress code standard may be refused entry at the discretion of AMAHOF

10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
• AMAHOF is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred
• Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings
• Participation in martial arts activities is voluntary and at your own risk

11. Fortuitous Event
AMAHOF is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond its control, including:
• Natural disasters / Act of God
• Government restrictions
• Venue issues
• Travel disruptions

12. Privacy
Personal information collected during registration will be used for:
• Event management
• Communication regarding the event
Information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
