1. Purpose
This Try Booking event is used by SMHS Aboriginal Health Strategy as an internal mechanism to collect staff orders and payments for Aboriginal Health organisational polo shirts. It is not a public retail transaction.
2. Eligibility
This event is open to current employees of South Metropolitan Health Service only. Orders submitted by non-staff may be cancelled and refunded.
3. Ordering Period
Orders must be placed, and payment completed, by the advertised closing date and time. Late orders cannot be accepted once the event has closed.
4. Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking. Try Booking is the only approved method available for collecting staff contributions for this purpose.
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).
5. Accuracy of Order Information
Staff are responsible for ensuring that all order details provided at the time of booking are correct, including:
• Polo style
• Size selection
• Any other information requested
The Department is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information submitted by the purchaser.
6. Changes and Cancellations
Orders cannot be changed, cancelled, or transferred once the booking period has closed and orders have been submitted to the supplier.
7. Refunds
All orders made through this TryBooking event are final. Polo shirts are supplied by an external third‑party stakeholder and are produced to order based on confirmed bookings. As such, refunds, cancellations, or exchanges are not available.
Payment for this event is received by an external stakeholder, and the booking organiser is unable to process refunds once a booking has been completed. Staff are responsible for ensuring that all order details, including size, style, and any customisation, are correct at the time of booking.
8. Delivery and Collection
Polo shirts will be distributed via internal workplace arrangements once delivered. Timeframes are estimates only and may be subject to supplier and delivery constraints.
9. Privacy and Use of Information
Information collected through this booking process is used solely for the purpose of processing uniform orders and internal administration.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable government privacy legislation and departmental policies.
