Event Participation Terms and Conditions – i3net Overnight Industry Tour

By registering for or attending this tour, you agree to the following:

Contact Sharing

Your name, organisation, and contact details (email and/or phone number) may be included in an attendee list shared with tour participants and within the i3net network to support networking, via print or digital means.

Opt-Out

If you do not wish for your details to be shared, please notify the event organisers prior to the tour.

Photography and Media

Photography and video recording may occur throughout the tour. By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed and to these images being used by i3net or media organisations for promotional and communication purposes. If you have concerns, please advise event staff.

Professional Conduct

Attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward other participants, speakers, partners, and venue staff at all times. As this is a multi-day tour, professional conduct is expected both during formal activities and informal networking. i3net reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any attendee whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.

Health and Safety

Attendees must follow all reasonable directions from event organisers, venue staff, transport providers, and site representatives.

This tour includes travel by bus and a visit to an operational industrial site. Attendees acknowledge that such environments may involve uneven surfaces, machinery, and varying weather conditions, and agree to take reasonable care for their own safety at all times.

Site Access and PPE

Attendees must comply with all site access requirements, including wearing appropriate clothing and any required personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed. Failure to comply may result in restricted access to parts of the site.

Travel and Accommodation

Transport, accommodation, and selected meals are included as part of the tour. Attendees are responsible for:

Arriving at the designated departure point on time
Any personal expenses not included in the itinerary
Their own travel insurance (recommended)

i3net is not responsible for delays, disruptions, or changes caused by third-party providers, including transport or accommodation services.

Catering and Dietary Requirements

Attendees are responsible for advising any dietary requirements during registration. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary needs, i3net cannot guarantee that all requirements can be fully met.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Due to advance bookings for transport and accommodation:

Refund requests must be made at least 14 days prior to the tour departure date
No refunds will be issued within 14 days of departure
No refunds will be issued for non-attendance (no-shows)

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to a colleague from the same organisation by notifying the organisers in advance.

Event Changes

i3net reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary, timing, site access, accommodation, or inclusions if required.

In the unlikely event the tour is cancelled, registered attendees will be notified and offered a refund or transfer to a future event.

Speaker and Partner Content

Views and opinions expressed by speakers, partners, or site representatives are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of i3net.

Liability

Attendees participate in the tour at their own risk. To the extent permitted by law, i3net is not liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, delay, or expense incurred during the tour, including during travel, accommodation, or site visits.

Privacy

Personal information provided during registration will be managed in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws and used for tour administration and networking purposes within the i3net community.

Communications and Updates

Attendees will receive event-related communications via the contact details provided. i3net reserves the right to update these terms and will communicate any significant changes.
