Our accommodation area is going to be exclusively for competitors.
A team member must remain on site at all times from bump in to bump out. (a large fire pit will be set up for people to sit around). There will also be multiple fire drums placed around the site.

There will be a coal bin placed next to the large water tank.

Please advise if a bin needs emptying and don’t overfill as it attracts unwanted pests.

Our entire hotel premises is covered by our liquor licence; however we ask you please use plastic cups or cans. The bar has a supply of plastic cups for your convenience. As this is a licensed event, please be mindful that RSA will be enforced.

By entering the competition, Team members agree to follow the lawful directions of the promotor and delegated persons and to abide by all rules as set down by the Australasian BBQ Alliance. For all ABA Rules for 2025, please visit: www.ausbbq.com.au/abarules

Prizes shall be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category as well as GC, RGC and top Rookie Team.
A Rookie team shall be defined as any team where none of the team members have competed in a sanctioned BBQ event prior to 1st July 2024.
