1. Ticket Inclusions
Each $75 ticket includes entry to the event at Yagoona Community Centre, a full East African buffet dinner, and participation in the evening's storytelling and quiz activities. Additional raffle tickets are sold separately unless otherwise stated.

2. Refund Policy

Change of Mind: As this is a fundraising event for Maama’s Community & Cultural Centre, tickets are non-refundable for change of mind or non-attendance.

Transfer: If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. Please notify Dativah at 0478 651 699 with the name of the new guest at least 24 hours before the event.

Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event that the organizer must cancel the dinner, a full refund of the ticket price (excluding booking fees) will be issued.

3. Dietary Requirements
While we strive to provide a diverse menu, please notify us of any severe allergies or specific dietary requirements (e.g., Vegan, Gluten-Free) at the time of booking via the TryBooking form. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

4. Event Photography
By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed. These images may be used to promote the progress of Maama’s Community & Cultural Centre on social media and future fundraising materials. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform our volunteers upon arrival.

5. Liability
The organiser and Yagoona Community Centre take all reasonable care to ensure a safe environment. However, by purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you attend at your own risk. The organiser is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property, or for personal injury occurring during the event.

6. Code of Conduct
This is a family-friendly community event . The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who behaves in a disruptive or disrespectful manner, without a refund.

7. Raffle & Prizes

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Winners must be present at the time of the draw to claim their prize, or a redraw will occur.
