# 1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the Banter M8s 4X4 Day 2026, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
You also agree to comply with:
* Directions issued by Beyond The Banter representatives.
* Directions issued by Team Bree Offroad guides.
* Directions issued by The Springs 4X4 Park owners, operators and staff.
* The Springs 4X4 Park Terms & Conditions and Conditions of Entry.
* Any waivers or acknowledgements required by The Springs 4X4 Park.

# 2. Official Event
The official Beyond The Banter event consists of:
* Guided beginner tag-along convoy.
* Practical 4WD education.
* Recovery awareness and driver education.
* Community BBQ.
* Official closing of the event.
The official event concludes following the completion of the Saturday BBQ.
Any activities occurring after the official event, including camping, socialising, recreational driving or use of park facilities, are not organised, managed or supervised by Beyond The Banter and occur solely under The Springs 4X4 Park's normal booking terms and conditions.

# 3. Nature of the Event
This is a guided recreational off-road driving experience.
It is **not**:
* A race.
* A competition.
* A timed event.
* A driver training accreditation course.
Participants acknowledge that recreational off-road driving carries inherent risks including, but not limited to:
* Vehicle damage.
* Mechanical failure.
* Recovery operations.
* Personal injury.
* Changing terrain and weather conditions.
* Driver error.
* Unforeseen obstacles.
Participation is entirely voluntary.

# 4. Driver Eligibility
Drivers must:
* Be at least 18 years of age.
* Hold a current and valid driver's licence.
* Be medically fit to operate a motor vehicle.
* Not be affected by alcohol, illegal drugs or medication that may impair driving ability.

# 5. Vehicle Requirements
Participants must supply a vehicle that:
* Is registered and roadworthy.
* Is suitable for recreational off-road use.
* Is maintained in a safe operating condition.
* Holds current comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
Rated recovery points and recovery equipment are strongly recommended.
Beyond The Banter, Team Bree Offroad and The Springs 4X4 Park reserve the right to refuse participation if a vehicle is considered unsuitable or unsafe.

# 6. Conduct
Participants agree to:
* Drive safely at all times.
* Follow convoy procedures.
* Treat others respectfully.
* Follow all directions provided by guides.
* Respect the environment and park facilities.
Unsafe, reckless or aggressive behaviour may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

# 7. Alcohol & Drugs
Alcohol and impairing substances are strictly prohibited during the official Beyond The Banter event.
Participants must remain fit to drive throughout all official activities.

# 8. Optional Obstacles
Certain tracks or obstacles may present greater levels of difficulty.
Participants acknowledge:
* No obstacle is compulsory.
* Drivers may bypass any obstacle.
* Drivers may withdraw from the convoy at any time.
* Guides may recommend bypassing obstacles where appropriate.
The decision to attempt any obstacle ultimately rests with the participant.

# 9. Instructions
Participants must follow directions provided by:
* Team Bree Offroad.
* The Springs 4X4 Park.
* Beyond The Banter representatives.
Safety decisions made by guides or park staff are final.

# 10. Personal Responsibility
Participants acknowledge they are solely responsible for:
* Their driving decisions.
* Their vehicle.
* Any passengers travelling in their vehicle.
* Their personal belongings.
Participants accept that off-road driving contains inherent risks that cannot be eliminated through supervision, guidance or event management.

# 11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants acknowledge that Beyond The Banter Ltd, The Springs 4X4 Park, Team Bree Offroad, their directors, volunteers, guides, employees and representatives shall not be liable for:
* Damage to participant vehicles.
* Mechanical failure.
* Recovery costs.
* Loss or theft of personal property.
* Injury arising from the inherent risks of recreational off-road driving.
* Decisions made by individual participants.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.

# 12. Insurance
Participants must maintain current comprehensive motor vehicle insurance for the vehicle used during the event.
Beyond The Banter's Public Liability insurance does not provide cover for participant vehicle damage.
Participants are encouraged to ensure their insurance policy extends to recreational off-road driving.
Participants remain responsible for arranging any personal accident, income protection or other personal insurance they consider appropriate.

# 13. Photography & Media
Photography and videography will occur throughout the event.
By participating, you consent to Beyond The Banter and its partners using photographs and video for promotional, educational and awareness purposes.
Participants wishing not to appear should advise organisers before the event.

# 14. Event Changes
Beyond The Banter may:
* Modify the event schedule.
* Alter convoy routes.
* Cancel or postpone activities.
* Suspend activities due to weather or safety concerns.
Safety will always take priority.

# 15. Refunds
Refunds are managed in accordance with the published TryBooking refund policy.

# 16. Acknowledgement
By registering, you confirm that you:
* Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
* Understand the inherent risks associated with recreational off-road driving.
* Accept personal responsibility for your participation.
* Agree to follow all directions issued during the official event.
* Acknowledge that the official Beyond The Banter event concludes following the Saturday BBQ, and that any activities undertaken afterwards are independent of Beyond The Banter and occur under The Springs 4X4 Park's normal operating conditions.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
