Beyond The Banter x The Springs 4X4 Park
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for this event, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions, as well as all directions provided by event organisers and instructors.
Participants also acknowledge that this event is held at The Springs 4X4 Park and agree to comply with all park rules, conditions of entry and any waivers required by the park.
2. Nature of the Event
This is a recreational 4WD experience involving off-road driving, which carries inherent risks.
By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks, including but not limited to:
Vehicle damage
Personal injury
Environmental conditions
Participation is voluntary.
3. Driver Responsibility
The registered participant (driver) is responsible for:
Ensuring their vehicle is roadworthy and suitable for off-road use
Holding a valid driver’s licence
Operating their vehicle safely at all times
Following all instructions from event facilitators and experienced guides
4. Vehicle & Equipment Requirements
Participants are responsible for ensuring their vehicle:
Has appropriate tyres for off-road conditions
Has rated recovery points (recommended)
Is maintained to a safe operating standard
Participants acknowledge that not all vehicles will be suitable for all tracks.
5. Conduct & Behaviour
All participants agree to:
Act respectfully towards others
Follow convoy procedures and instructions
Not engage in reckless, unsafe or irresponsible driving
Support a positive, inclusive environment
Beyond The Banter reserves the right to remove any participant who does not meet these expectations.
6. Alcohol & Substances
No alcohol or impairing substances are permitted while operating a vehicle during event activities.
Participants must be fit to drive at all times.
7. Optional Activities
Certain activities (including but not limited to more difficult tracks or obstacles such as hill climbs) are optional.
Participants:
Are under no obligation to attempt any obstacle
Must make their own judgement on capability
Accept full responsibility for their decision to participate
8. Instructions & Guidance
All driving instruction and guidance will be provided by experienced personnel engaged for the event.
Participants must:
Follow instructions when given
Communicate clearly during recovery or technical situations
Failure to follow direction may result in removal from activities.
9. Personal Responsibility & Risk
Participants acknowledge they are responsible for:
Their own safety
Their vehicle
Their personal belongings
Beyond The Banter, its representatives and partners are not liable for:
Vehicle damage
Loss or theft of property
Injury sustained during participation (to the extent permitted by law)
10. Insurance
Participants are responsible for their own:
Vehicle insurance
Personal insurance
This event does not provide individual vehicle coverage.
11. Filming & Content
This event may be photographed and filmed.
By attending, participants consent to:
Photo and video capture
Use of content for promotional, educational and awareness purposes
If you do not wish to be included, you must notify organisers prior to the event.
12. Event Changes & Cancellation
Beyond The Banter reserves the right to:
Modify the event schedule or track selection
Adjust activities due to weather or safety conditions
Cancel or postpone the event if required
Participants will be notified of any significant changes.
13. Refunds
Refund policy to be outlined separately within the booking platform.
14. Compliance with The Springs 4X4 Park
All participants must comply with:
The Springs 4X4 Park terms and conditions
Any safety directions issued by park staff
Failure to comply may result in removal from the park and event.
15. Acknowledgement
By registering, you confirm that you:
Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
Accept the risks associated with off-road driving
Agree to follow all instructions and guidelines
This event is conducted as a guided recreational experience. Participants operate their vehicles at their own risk at all times.
