PARKING is available around the school perimeter and “access” is only through the gate on Douglas Street, opposite McMahon St. There WILL be signs!
Other school gates will be closed.
The Hall will be OPEN FROM 6.00PM which is where you will check in and receive your hired Bluetooth headsets. We will show you how to use the headset & choose the playlist you want to listen to – it’s really easy! Once you collect your headset you can then pick a spot on the oval outside to dance…
Please RESPECT OUR NEIGHBOURS in the area around the school by ensuring where you park does not impact access to their driveways and homes.
There is LIGHTING on the path to the hall and there will be some small safety lights around the designated “dance area”, plus you will see all the LEDS from all the headsets moving and grooving around you, so it won’t be “pitch black” 😊
BYO WATER/REFRESHMENTS. We will have a limited supply of bottled water & soft drinks & some snacks available for purchase from the hall if needed.
BYO DECK CHAIR if you think you might need a seat during the sesh - 90 minutes can feel like a really long time and…BRING INSECT REPELLANT - just in case...
If bringing YOUNGER FOLK please ensure they (and/or the older folk with them) do not run around the park/grassed area once we start dancing…
All our events are ALCOHOL FREE and as part of the ticket purchase we have specifically asked attendees to agree to this – please respect this condition of entry.
