TERMS & CONDITIONS – CGB WINTER INTENSIVE 2026
By enrolling in the CGB Winter Intensive, participants and/or their parent/guardian agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. ENROLMENT & PAYMENT
Full payment is required at the time of booking via TryBooking to secure a place in the program.
Places are strictly limited and allocated on a first-paid, first-served basis.
Enrolment is only confirmed once payment has been received.
2. REFUND POLICY
Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the event: Full refund (minus booking/processing fees)
Cancellations made 4–6 days prior to the event: 50% refund
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event: No refund
Medical / Injury
A refund or studio credit may be offered upon presentation of a valid medical certificate
Missed Classes / No Shows
No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes or failure to attend
3. PARTICIPATION & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Dance training is a physically demanding activity involving strength, flexibility, and endurance.
Participants confirm they are physically fit to take part in the program.
Any pre-existing injuries, medical conditions, or concerns must be disclosed to the studio prior to participation.
4. PHYSICAL CORRECTION & TRAINING METHOD
Ballet training at Chengwu Guo Ballet includes verbal and physical correction from faculty and guest teachers.
Physical corrections may include gentle adjustments to posture, alignment, placement, and movement technique.
By enrolling, participants and/or guardians provide consent for appropriate physical contact as part of safe and professional dance instruction.
All corrections are delivered respectfully and in accordance with professional dance training standards.
5. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Participation in dance activities involves inherent risks of injury.
By enrolling, participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
Chengwu Guo Ballet, its directors, faculty, guest teachers, and staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the program.
6. CONDUCT & STUDIO POLICY
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.
Chengwu Guo Ballet reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate, without refund.
7. PROGRAM CHANGES
Chengwu Guo Ballet reserves the right to modify the timetable, faculty, or program content if necessary.
Any changes will be communicated as early as possible.
8. MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography and video may be taken during the program for promotional and educational purposes.
By enrolling, participants consent to the use of such media unless otherwise advised in writing prior to the program.
9. GENERAL
Bookings are non-transferable unless approved
Participation in the program indicates acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
