The Year 10 Formal will be an important evening for students to celebrate their achievements and begin their journey together in the senior school of MSJ.

The Year 10 Formal is scheduled for Friday, 19th June 2026, at Grand Star Receptions (499 Grieve Parade, Altona North VIC 3025).

To ensure that an enjoyable time is had by all, we would ask that you discuss the following with your child:

We do ask that all preparation for the Formal must occur out of school time and students should not arrive late or leave school early to prepare.

We encourage minimal expense on this event, financial strain should not be caused by this evening.

The event commences at 6:30pm and concludes at 10.30pm sharp.

Students must be dropped off and picked up by parents/guardians. It has been clearly explained to students that no buses/limousines/taxis/Ubers are permitted.

There will be no pass outs in the evening.

Students are only allowed to purchase one ticket each.

Attendance is for MSJ Year 10 students only.

No alcohol, drugs or smoking/vaping is permitted.

Parents or guardians must be reachable in case of emergencies or misconduct. To ensure everyone's safety, students suspected of drug or alcohol use before or during the event will be required to leave. Their parents or carers will be notified and must collect them.

Students are to remain respectful to other students and staff at all times.

The cost of the ticket is $78, which includes all food and soft drinks. Additionally, a DJ and photo booth are included in the ticket price.

All tickets must be purchased by credit card via Trybooking.

Tickets must be purchased by 5th June. No refunds will be given after this date. No cash sales of tickets will occur through the College office

A PAM permission form must be completed for students to attend

Students are expected to wear appropriate attire at this formal
