Homeschool Hotline Workshop Terms and Conditions
1. Workshops must be paid for in full via EFT prior to commencement, unless free as advertised.
2. By enrolling in a workshop, parents/carers are in agreement that their child can attend the online workshop at the time stated which will be in AEDT or AEST.
3. Workshop prices are per homeschooling family (one household).
4. Workshops are 45 - 60 minutes in duration, unless agreed otherwise between parents/carers and Homeschool Hotline.
5. A parent/carer must be in the same room and within earshot of the Zoom session. Alternatively, the meeting will be recorded via Zoom recording.
6. Each online session will be delivered via the Zoom platform. Parents/Carers will be required to set up a free Zoom account prior to the first session.
7. It is recommended that parents/carers log on to Zoom at least 5 minutes before the session starts.
8. Learners will need a quiet space to participate in the session.
9. Access to a desktop or laptop computer with both a working camera and sound is required.
10. Parents/carers will be informed prior to the workshop if particular resources are required other than basic stationery.
11. Students will need access to the internet. It is recommended that parents/carers have a backup plan (e.g. access to a mobile phone hotspot or use of a dongle) in the event of internet signal issues.
12. In the event of Homeschool Hotline experiencing internet issues, an alternative date/time for a make up session will be offered, or a full refund will be provided.
13. Your Homeschool Hotline host will share Zoom workshop behaviour expectations with students at the start of a workshop.
14. In the event of disruptive or disrespectful behaviour during group workshops, Homeschool Hotline will provide a reminder to students about expectations and contact parent/carers to discuss the best course of action.
15. Homeschool Hotline reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the numbers enrolled make the workshop unviable. A full refund will be made in this instance.
16. Homeschool Hotline reserves the right to cancel a student’s participation in sessions if they themselves are not thriving or if other students are being disrupted from their learning.
17. In the event a workshop cannot go ahead due to unforeseen circumstances, Homeschool Hotline reserves the right to cancel the workshop. An alternative time for the workshop will be offered or a full refund will be provided.
