PARTICIPANT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation Cardiac Challenge 2026 Team Fundraising Event - Cycling Relay PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING;
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Cycling Relay Event ("Event") organised by Rose's Riders - Riding for Luke and The Cairns Birdwings teams, in support of the QSuper Cardiac Challenge 2026, I acknowledge and agree to the following :
I understand that participating in a cycling relay event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Physical injury, disability, or death
- Property damage or loss
- Weather-related hazards
- Collision with other participants, spectators, or objects
- Road/track conditions and facility hazards
I voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with participating in this Event, whether known or unknown
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless:
a) Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation (ABN 42 980 569 986)
b) Event organisers, volunteers, and officials
c) Cairns Cycle Club and its facilities
d) All sponsors and their representatives
from any and all claims, demands, losses, and liability arising out of or related to any injury, disability, or death I may suffer, or loss or damage to person or property, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I agree to comply with all Event rules, directions of officials, and applicable road rules and safety guidelines.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
