TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
By purchasing a ticket and entering the Horsham Showgrounds or Maydale Reserve for a Horsham Agricultural Society event, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Admission
A valid ticket is required for entry and must be presented for scanning at the gate.
Tickets may only be used once unless otherwise stated.
Event management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is considered unsafe, offensive, intoxicated or disruptive. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
2. Photography, Filming and Media
This is a public event where photography, video recording and live streaming may occur.
By entering the event, you acknowledge and consent to your image, voice or likeness being captured and used by the Horsham Agricultural Society for promotional, marketing, educational and archival purposes. This includes use across social media, websites, printed publications, advertising, media releases and future event promotions without payment or further notice.
If you do not wish to be photographed, please advise the official event photographer where reasonably possible. While every effort will be made to respect your request, we cannot guarantee you will not appear incidentally in crowd or public event images.
The Horsham Agricultural Society is not responsible for photographs or recordings taken by members of the public or media representatives.
3. Marketing Communications
By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the Horsham Agricultural Society contacting you regarding this event and future events, including ticket releases, special offers, event announcements and other relevant information.
Your personal information will not be sold to third parties.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in our emails or by contacting us directly.
4. Privacy
Personal information collected during the ticket purchase process will only be used for event administration, customer service, ticketing, safety purposes and communications relating to Horsham Agricultural Society events.
Information is managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
5. Children
Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety and behaviour of children attending the event.
6. Safety
Entry is at your own risk.
Visitors must comply with all reasonable directions given by event staff, volunteers, contractors, security personnel and emergency services.
The Horsham Agricultural Society accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to personal property brought onto the grounds.
7. Animals and Biosecurity
Livestock and animals are an important part of our events.
Visitors must not enter animal enclosures or restricted areas unless authorised.
Please follow all directions relating to animal welfare and biosecurity.
Only registered assistance animals are permitted unless prior approval has been obtained from event management.
8. Weather
Events will proceed in most weather conditions.
Programs, attractions and entertainment may be amended, delayed or cancelled due to weather, safety requirements, animal welfare considerations or circumstances beyond the organiser's control.
Refunds will only be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law or at the discretion of the organiser.
9. Event Changes
Event programs, entertainment, attractions, exhibitors and schedules are subject to change without notice.
The Horsham Agricultural Society accepts no liability for changes resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
10. Drones
The operation of drones or other unmanned aerial vehicles is prohibited unless prior written approval has been obtained from the Horsham Agricultural Society.
11. Vehicles
Vehicles are only permitted in authorised areas.
Visitors must comply with all parking, traffic management and speed restrictions while on the grounds.
12. Prohibited Items
The Horsham Agricultural Society reserves the right to prohibit any item considered dangerous, illegal or likely to impact the safety or enjoyment of others.
13. Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law or where the event is cancelled by the organiser.
Booking fees and transaction charges may not be refundable where charged by the ticketing provider.
14. Acceptance
Entry to the event constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
