PECAN+ CTF is a free event led by Edith Cowan University (ECU).
By registering here, you accept the offer to compete in PECAN+ CTF at the Edith Cowan University, Joondalup Campus and understand that you will be required to adhere to the rules and instructions given by ECU staff whilst on the Campus. You acknowledge that you are aware of ethical hacking practices and understand that there are legal ramifications for the misuse of these. You are expected to compete ethically. Failure to adhere to the rules and regulations will see you exited from the Competition.
If registering as a minor, a parent/legal guardian must approve registration and a parent/legal guardian’s details must be provided as an emergency contact.
If attending as a minor, a Parent/Guardian must approve the selection of “yes” to permission to have your photograph taken. By selecting “yes” you are consenting that a parent/legal guardian of the Subject (competing team member who is under the age of 18 years as at 22nd August, 2026) consents to and authorises Edith Cowan University (ECU) and persons authorised through it to photograph the Subject at Edith Cowan University Joondalup Campus and to reproduce, publish and communicate the photographs in any medium for the Purpose of promoting the PECAN+ CTF competition and related cyber security and computer science outreach and engagement activity.
Data collection and use:
The data you submit will be sent to, stored and used by the Trybooking form owner, Edith Cowan University (ECU). ECU will deal with personal and sensitive information in a manner that protects the privacy of individuals whilst meeting the University’s policy and legislative obligations. Data provided in this form will be used to provide email updates about the PECAN+ CTF Competition for this and future years, as well as related cyber security outreach and engagement event information. Updates may be received from Edith Cowan University and national delivery partners of PECAN+ CTF.
