By purchasing a ticket to Totally Not Normal Trivia, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Event Information
Event: Totally Not Normal Trivia
Date: Saturday June 20
Venue: Newham Mechanics Institute, 1292 Rochford Road, Newham
Doors open at 7:00pm, with performances and trivia commencing at approximately 7:45pm.
Ticketing
General Admission
Show-only tickets are $40 per person.
Tables of 10 are available for $350 per table.
Aperitivo tasting plates are available as an optional add-on for $20 per person.
Seating is limited and bookings are essential.
Table Bookings
There are 6 tables of 10 and 10 tables of 4.
Full table bookings guarantee your group will be seated together.
Smaller bookings may be seated with other guests.
Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another person if you can no longer attend.
Transfer is to be organised by the ticket purchaser.
Please contact the event organisers prior to the event if transferring a booking.
Refund Policy
Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law.
If the event is cancelled by the organisers, ticket holders will be offered a refund or ticket transfer option.
No refunds will be issued for change of mind, non-attendance, or late arrival.
Food & Dietary Requirements
Aperitivo tasting plates must be pre-purchased no later than 7 days before the event.
Guests with dietary requirements must notify organisers in advance with the check box form.
While every effort will be made to accommodate dietary needs, the organisers cannot guarantee allergen-free food preparation environments.
Event Participation
Totally Not Normal Trivia is an interactive entertainment event featuring live performances, audience participation, music, movement, humour, and playful surprises.
By attending, guests acknowledge and accept that:
Audience participation is encouraged but always voluntary.
The event may include loud music, theatrical effects, dancing, and immersive performance elements.
Guests are responsible for participating safely and respectfully.
Responsible Behaviour
To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience:
Guests must behave respectfully toward performers, staff, volunteers, and fellow attendees.
Anti-social, aggressive, discriminatory, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
Intoxicated or disruptive guests may be refused entry or asked to leave without refund.
Dress Code
Guests are warmly encouraged to embrace the spirit of the evening by dressing in bold, playful, carnivale–cabaret inspired attire.
Think sparkle, colour, glamour, theatrical flair, sequins, feathers, velvet, vintage cabaret, circus chic, or anything delightfully over-the-top.
Costumes and themed outfits are entirely optional, and guests are welcome to attend in whatever makes them feel comfortable and fabulous.
Alcohol Service
Alcohol will be available for purchase at the venue bar.
Responsible Service of Alcohol practices will apply at all times.
Valid ID may be required.
Photography & Media
By attending the event, guests acknowledge that photographs and video footage may be taken during the night for promotional and marketing purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in promotional material, please notify the organisers upon arrival.
Liability
Guests attend the event at their own risk.
The organisers, performers, volunteers, and venue are not responsible for:
Personal injury
Loss or damage to personal belongings
Any costs incurred due to changes outside the organisers’ reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
Event Changes
The organisers reserve the right to:
Change event schedules, performances, seating arrangements, or programming where necessary
Refuse entry in accordance with venue capacity, licensing, or safety requirements
Any significant event changes will be communicated to ticket holders where possible.
