RAD Australia Conference 2027

FEES
1. All fees above are inclusive of GST (ABN 88 132 361 256).
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. All applications and payments will be processed in order of receipt.
2. Correspondence will be sent primarily via email, to the email address registered upon booking. If the email address is incorrect, RAD cannot be held responsible for missed or misdirected email communications.
3. Order confirmation will be sent to you via TryBooking and this confirms receipt of your place at the conference.
4. CPD activities are designed for teachers (members or non-members), including Faculty of Education students.
5. RAD Member ticket options are for current/active members only. Periodic audits will be conducted by the Membership and CPD departments and any lapsed memberships will need to be renewed and paid for prior to attending the conference, the balance of the Non-member ticket fee will need to be paid or your ticket voided without refund.
6. All participants must be aged 18 and over.
7. Registrations are for one attendee only.
8. All attendees, including presenters, must hold a valid registration.
9. All registrations, including video on demand, must be purchased prior to the advertised closing date for each ticket type.
10. Any CPD value is awarded in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the RAD CPD Scheme.
11. Any CPD value accrued cannot be transferred between applicants.
12. Any recording or photography is strictly prohibited.
13. When participating in practical activities, you are participating at your own risk and should only do those activities that you consider safe for your own body.
14. All costs associated with travel and accommodation are at the presenters’ and attendees' own expense.
15. The RAD reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
16. The information in this and other printed or electronic brochures/notices is correct at the time of print or going online.
VIDEO ON DEMAND RECORDINGS
1. Access to the recordings will be sent to the email address registered upon booking within 2 weeks following the completion of the conference.
2. Recordings will be available to in person and online registered attendees for the relevant sessions for 6 months from the date made available. No extensions will be granted.
3. All videos must be viewed in full to receive a CPD certificate and allocated CPD hours. The conference team will monitor this compliance through the video platform.
4. The sharing of links to the recordings is strictly prohibited.
5. Video on demand recordings will not be made available to individuals and will remain the property of the RAD.
REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS
1. Presenter, Member Presale and Early Bird tickets are non-refundable.
2. Refund requests for General tickets must be made in writing prior to Thursday 17 December 2026 11.59pm AEDT, to be eligible for a refund, less a 20% cancellation fee. No refunds will be granted after this date.
3. Refund requests for General tickets made after Thursday 17 December 2026 11.59pm AEDT will only be granted in exceptional circumstances upon receipt of evidence, and at the discretion of the RAD, less a 20% cancellation fee. Refunds will not be provided for attendees who fail to attend the conference due to travel delays.
4. Refunds due to visa refusals will only be considered on receipt of written proof of refusal from the immigration authorities prior to Thursday 17 December 2026 11:59pm AEDT. If a refund is granted it will be less a 20% cancellation fee. No refunds will be considered after this date.
5. If an official letter of Receipt and Registration Confirmation has been issued by the conference organisers for visa application purposes, the registration fee becomes non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
6. Registration transfer requests must be made in writing prior to Thursday 14 January 2027 11.59pm AEST and are at the discretion of the conference team.
a. Direct transfers can only be made to an attendee of the same category (e.g., RAD Registered Teacher ticket may only be transferred to another RAD Registered Teacher).
b. Transfers to another category will incur a fee of the balance of the required ticket type at the time of transfer (not at the time of purchase).
7. All requests must be made in writing to conferenceau@rad.org.au. The date of receipt for all communications will be the date on which the email is received by the Conference team.
8. Refunds will be processed within Trybooking within 2-5 business days of notification. Please allow 5-10 business days from the time of processing for the funds to be returned.
VISA AND TRAVEL INFORMATION DISCLAIMER
1. All international attendees travelling to Australia are entirely responsible for investigating and securing the correct visa required for their entry.
2. RAD does not issue personalised Letters of Invitation for visa application purposes under any circumstances.
3. RAD may provide an official Receipt and Registration Confirmation document upon request and confirmation of registration paid in full. The Australian Department of Home Affairs routinely accepts this formal confirmation as proof of your travel intent. This document will include:
a. Your full name and affiliated institution
b. Specific conference details including dates, venue and host organisation information
c. Confirmation of your paid in full status
4. RAD reserves the right to request further evidence of proof of intent to attend the conference or institutional affiliations.
5. RAD is strictly the host of this professional event. We assume zero financial responsibility, legal liability or travel sponsorship for any attendee. We cannot contact immigration officials or intervene in the visa application process on behalf of any applicant. Registration fees remain subject to the cancellation policy regardless of visa outcomes.

ALTERATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
1. The RAD reserves the right to alter the advertised programme and/or presenter without prior notice.
2. In the event the RAD must cancel, including where minimum participant numbers have not been reached, registered participants will receive a full refund. The RAD will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible via email.
3. The RAD does not accept any consequential loss and will not have liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred such as travel and accommodation. The RAD recommends booking refundable travel and accommodation.
PRESS AND PUBLICITY CONSENT
1. By registering for the conference, you are consenting to the following:
a. Permission for the RAD to publish my name and photograph/s taken at the conference, including the social event.
b. Permission for the RAD to use any recorded footage made during the conference for video on demand and marketing purposes.
c. Permission for the RAD to use all press/media coverage and photographs for promotional purposes including third party media outlets for promotional purposes both on and offline.
RESOURCES AND SHARING OF INFORMATION
1. The RAD will provide access to any resources made available by the presenters either prior to or post conference where applicable via the email address registered during booking. These resources are for registered attendees only. Sharing of resources is strictly prohibited.
2. Presenters must provide any necessary resources as stated in the abstract submission guidance document. The RAD cannot provide student demonstrators or printing facilities.
3. The sharing of contact information during the conference is at the discretion and risk of the individual.
4. The RAD will not share the personal information of any RAD staff, guest speakers, presenters or attendees under any circumstances.
CERTIFICATES
1. Full attendance for each full day of sessions as registered for is required to receive a certificate of completion and the allocated CPD hours.
2. All in-person attendance certificates will be issued within 4 weeks following the completion of the conference, via email, to the email address registered when booking.
3. All video on demand certificates will be issued periodically throughout the 6-month viewing period or within 4 weeks following the video access expiry date.
4. Certificates must be provided should proof of mandatory CPD hours be requested.
