TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TICKET PURCHASE

By purchasing a ticket to the Academy of Dance Victoria Solo & Troupe Showcase, attendees agree to the following terms and conditions:

Ticket Sales

* All ticket sales are final.
* No refunds, exchanges or transfers will be provided except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
* Lost, stolen or damaged tickets will not be replaced.
* Tickets must not be resold, auctioned, offered for resale, or used for any promotional or commercial purpose without the prior written consent of Academy of Dance Victoria.
* Academy of Dance Victoria reserves the right to refuse entry to any person holding a ticket obtained in breach of these conditions.

Event Changes

* Academy of Dance Victoria reserves the right to make changes to the event program, running order, performers, venue arrangements, commencement time or other event details where necessary.
* In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be notified of any applicable refund arrangements.

Venue Conduct

* Patrons must follow all directions provided by theatre staff, Academy of Dance Victoria staff and venue management.
* Any person whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, offensive or inappropriate may be refused entry or required to leave the venue without refund.
* Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.

Photography and Recording

* Photography and video recording may occur during the event. Attendance at the event constitutes consent to appear in photographs, video recordings or promotional material produced by Academy of Dance Victoria.

Personal Property

* Patrons attend the event at their own risk.
* Academy of Dance Victoria and the venue accept no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal property brought to the venue.

Limitation of Liability

* To the fullest extent permitted by law, Academy of Dance Victoria, its employees, volunteers, contractors and representatives will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or expense suffered by attendees arising from attendance at the event, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
* Attendees are responsible for their own personal safety and for complying with all venue rules and directions.

Late Arrivals

* Late arrivals may be required to wait for a suitable break in the performance before being admitted to the auditorium.

Prams and Large Items

* Due to venue safety requirements, prams and large items are not permitted inside the auditorium and must be left in designated areas if directed by venue staff.

Venue Conduct

* Alcohol, vaping, smoking and illegal substances are prohibited within the venue and its grounds.
* Patrons must behave in a respectful manner towards performers, staff, volunteers and other audience members.
* Academy of Dance Victoria and venue management reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, intoxicated or inappropriate. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
