Terms and Conditions  −  2026 First Aid for Dancers (Online)

FEES
1. All fees above are inclusive of GST (ABN 88 132 361 256).

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. All applications and payments will be processed in order of receipt.
2. Correspondence will be sent primarily via email, to the email address registered upon booking. If the email address is incorrect, RAD cannot be held responsible for missed or misdirected email communications.
3. Order confirmation will be sent to you via TryBooking and this confirms receipt of your place on the course. The RAD does not provide receipts.
4. Further communication on course details will be sent approximately 7 days and again 24 hours prior to the start of the course. Bookings made within 7 days may only receive any necessary information 24 hours prior to the start of the course.
5. All bookings are for one attendee only.
6. CPD activities are designed for teachers (members or non-members) and open to RAD Faculty of Education students.
7. RAD Member ticket options are for current/active members only. Periodic audits will be conducted by the Membership and CPD departments and any lapsed memberships will need to be renewed and paid for prior to attending the course, the balance of the Non-member ticket fee will need to be paid or your ticket voided without refund.
8. All participants must be aged 18 and over.
9. Any CPD value that an activity may carry is awarded in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the RAD CPD Scheme.
10. Any CPD value accrued cannot be transferred between applicants.
11. Any recording or photography is strictly prohibited. Activities will not be recorded.
12. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure they have the necessary equipment and resources to take part in an in person, online or on demand activity.
13. When participating in practical activities, you are participating at your own risk and should only do those activities that you consider safe for your own body.
14. Participants must conduct themselves in a professional manner, in accordance with the Code of Conduct for members and Code of Professional Practical for teachers registered with the RAD.
15. The RAD reserves the right to offer limited-time discounts which are only available on the published dates and cannot be applied retrospectively.
16. The RAD reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

TRANSFERS AND REFUNDS
1. Applications are non-transferable.
2. Refunds will be issued for participants who withdraw due to illness. Withdrawal for this reason at any time before the activity starts will receive a 90% refund upon receipt of medical evidence.
3. Refund requests for any reason made in writing 4 weeks or more prior to the course start date will be offered a transfer to another course or a 90% refund. Refund or transfer requests received in writing within 4 weeks of the course start date will be at the discretion of the CPD department.
4. All requests must be sent in writing to cpd@rad.org.au. Date of receipt will be the date on which the email is received by the CPD department.
5. The RAD will not issue any refunds for technical difficulties experienced by the participant during an online session.
6. Any technical difficulties on the RAD’s part including internet service disruption or device performance are beyond our control. By registering for an online activity you acknowledge and accept that occasional disruptions may occur. In the instance technical difficulties are so severe that the course cannot continue, the RAD will reschedule the course and offer participants a transfer to the new date or a full refund.

CANCELLATIONS AND CONTENT
1. The RAD reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, change the format or tutor of the activity where necessary. This includes where minimum participant numbers have not been reached. The RAD will endeavor to provide as much notice as possible via email.
2. In instances of cancellation or rescheduling, participants will be offered a transfer of booking to the rescheduled date or a full refund.
3. The RAD does not accept any consequential loss and will not have liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred such as travel and accommodation. Attendees are advised to book refundable travel and accommodation.
4. The information in this and other printed or electronic brochures/notices is correct at the time of print or going online.

CERTIFICATES
1. Full attendance of the activity is required to receive a certificate of completion and the allocated CPD hours, whether in person, online or on demand. Late arrival or early departure of a course will result in a reduction of CPD hours.
2. The RAD reserves the right to reduce CPD hours for participants who do not actively participate in an activity.
3. All activities' certificates (except for Examination Feedback sessions) will be issued within 4 weeks of completion, via email, to the email address registered when booking.
4. Examination Feedback session certificates will be issued periodically throughout the year.
5. Certificates must be provided should proof of mandatory CPD hours be requested.
