EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Event Organiser: RIDMA Foundation Inc.
1. TICKETS
1.1 A valid ticket must be presented for admission.
1.2 Tickets may not be copied, duplicated, altered or reproduced.
1.3 Tickets purchased through authorised sales channels are valid only for the event specified.
1.4 RIDMA Foundation Inc. reserves the right to cancel any ticket reasonably suspected of being fraudulent, duplicated or acquired in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
1.5 Proof of age and entitlement to concession pricing may be requested at any time.
1.6 Patrons aged two (2) to sixteen (16) years must hold a valid child ticket.
1.7 Prams, baby capsules and large items are not permitted inside the auditorium unless expressly approved by the venue.
1.8 Seating allocations, if any, are subject to venue operational requirements and may be altered where reasonably necessary.
2. REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS AND POSTPONEMENTS
2.1 Subject to Australian Consumer Law, tickets are non-refundable for change of mind, personal circumstances, travel issues, illness, scheduling conflicts or failure to attend.
2.2 Late arrivals may be required to wait for a suitable break in the performance before entry.
2.3 Patrons removed from the venue for misconduct, intoxication, disorderly behaviour or breach of these Terms are not entitled to a refund.
2.4 If the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket face value. Booking, transaction and third-party processing fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law.
2.5 If the event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date.
2.6 Changes to artists, performers, speakers, schedules, running order, supporting acts or programme content do not constitute grounds for a refund.
2.7 RIDMA Foundation Inc. reserves the right to refuse admission where reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance or venue requirements.
3. FOOD, ALCOHOL AND SAFETY
3.1 Food and beverages may only be consumed in designated areas.
3.2 Patrons must comply with all venue rules and applicable liquor licensing laws.
3.3 RIDMA Foundation Inc. and venue management reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol or remove any person whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or intoxicated.
3.4 Illegal substances, weapons and prohibited items are strictly forbidden.
4. PHOTOGRAPHY, RECORDING AND MEDIA CONSENT
4.1 Audio recording, video recording, live streaming, photography for commercial purposes and professional recording equipment are prohibited unless authorised in writing.
4.2 By entering the venue, patrons consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded.
4.3 Patrons grant RIDMA Foundation Inc. a perpetual, royalty-free right to use such images and recordings for promotional, educational, archival, fundraising and marketing purposes.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
5.1 Patrons enter and attend the event at their own risk.
5.2 Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising children at all times.
5.3 Patrons must comply with directions given by venue staff, event staff, volunteers, security personnel and emergency services.
5.4 Bag inspections may be conducted where reasonably necessary for safety and security purposes.
5.5 Persons refusing lawful directions or safety procedures may be denied entry or removed without refund.
5.6 All parking and vehicle access are at the patron's own risk.
5.7 The organiser may vary venue layouts, seating arrangements, event schedules and performance times where reasonably necessary.
6. HEALTH AND MEDICAL MATTERS
6.1 Patrons acknowledge that performances may include loud noises, flashing lights, smoke, haze, strobe lighting and other theatrical effects.
6.2 Patrons are responsible for determining whether attendance is appropriate for their personal medical condition.
6.3 In an emergency, RIDMA Foundation Inc. may seek medical assistance on behalf of a patron but accepts no responsibility for medical costs, treatment decisions or outcomes.
6.4 Persons experiencing symptoms of a communicable illness should not attend the event.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
7.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, RIDMA Foundation Inc., its officers, committee members, volunteers, employees, contractors, sponsors, agents and representatives exclude all liability for indirect, consequential, incidental or special loss or damage arising from attendance at the event.
7.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
7.3 RIDMA Foundation Inc. is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property brought to the venue.
7.4 Where liability cannot be excluded, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
8.1 RIDMA Foundation Inc. shall not be liable for delay, cancellation, interruption, postponement or modification of the event resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, public health orders, government action, venue unavailability, industrial disputes, transport disruptions, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, utility failures or other force majeure events.
9. INDEMNITY
9.1 Patrons agree to indemnify and hold harmless RIDMA Foundation Inc., its officers, committee members, volunteers, employees, contractors and agents against claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from:
(a) the patron's negligence or misconduct;
(b) breach of these Terms and Conditions; or
(c) unlawful acts committed by the patron.
10. PRIVACY
10.1 Personal information collected during ticket purchases or event registration will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.
10.2 Information may be used for event administration, safety, ticketing, communications and fundraising activities of RIDMA Foundation Inc.
11. GOVERNING LAW
11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
11.2 Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
12. SEVERABILITY
12.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
13. CONSUMER RIGHTS
13.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or other legislation which cannot lawfully be excluded.
