Location & Directions:
Avoca Homestead is situated approximately 25 km from Wentworth.
Travel along Pomona Road, which continues into Low Darling Road. Watch for the Avoca Homestead sign on the right-hand side and follow the gravel driveway to the homestead grounds. The driveway is approximately 2 km long, so please drive carefully and be mindful of other visitors.
Conditions of Entry:
By purchasing a ticket and entering Avoca Homestead, you acknowledge and accept the following conditions:
- Avoca Homestead is a heritage-listed property and an important part of the region’s history. Visitors are asked to treat the buildings, grounds, and surrounding environment with care and respect.
- As a historic property, some areas may present natural or age-related hazards, including uneven surfaces, old structures, and other features typical of heritage sites.
- By entering the property, you acknowledge that you are aware of these potential risks and agree to take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of those accompanying you.
- Visitors enter the property at their own risk and are responsible for following any safety instructions or directions provided by event organizers.
- Any person who damages property, buildings, equipment, or grounds may be held responsible for the cost of repairs or restoration.
- Pets are not permitted on the property. Assistance animals, including guide dogs and other accredited service animals, are an exception.
