TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ATTENDING GLEN EIRA SOCIAL CLUB EVENTS

ACCEPTABLE SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR AND ABIDING BY EVENT RULES
I understand our Social Club promotes good fellowship, teamwork and social activities, therefore, I will co-operate with the Club and/or Event Organiser with respect to any rules or controls taken ensure my safety and wellbeing throughout the event.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY WITH ALCOHOL
I understand and acknowledge that Alcoholic beverages are available for consumption at certain Social Club Events. I agree that any alcoholic beverages I consume are my own choice and responsibility. I agree to drink responsibility, heed suggestions from others where necessary, and not drive a vehicle (including arranging safe means of transportation where necessary) or operate machinery if I am intoxicated. I acknowledge that I alone am responsible for any actions resulting from my consumption of alcohol at Glen Eira Social Club Events, and I agree that Glen Eira City Council and the Glen Eira Council Social Club are in no way responsible for claims or liabilities of any kind arising from any such incidents or events.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I understand that some Social Club activities may include varying degrees of physical exertion and/or risk. I agree and understand that I that it is my sole responsibility to determine my physical, medical and psychological fitness to undertake any such activity. I hereby assert that my participation is voluntary and that I knowingly assume all such risks.

INDEMNIFICATION
I also agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Glen Eira City Council, the Glen Eira City Council Social Club, the Social Club Committee and its members, their agents and representatives from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including attorney’s fees brought as a result of my membership and participation in the Social Club, and any Glen Eira City Council Social Club Events I attend.
