1. Presentation of electronic ticket or a printed copy is required at the start of the Kirup Camino at the Church of St Therese, in Balingup.
2. This ticket is non-transferable and only one ticket is valid per registration.
3. This ticket has been created and managed using the TryBooking site and is also subject to the Terms and Conditions of TryBooking.
4. Registration starts at 8am at the Church of St Therese, Roberts Street, Balingup.
5. Cars can be parked at Kirup - the end point. A shuttle bus will leave Kirup at 8am to transport pilgrims to Balingup - the starting point of the Kirup Camino.
6. Pilgrims are asked to turn-off/silence their mobile phones inside the churches at Balingup and Kirup.
7. Catholic Mission retains ownership of all rights to film, photo, production and publishing of this event.
8. Pilgrims should be able to walk the 16km distance at a pace of about 4km per hour and will need to carry their own backpack with water, snacks, basic first aid, wet weather gear, sunscreen etc. Hiking/walking poles are optional – the terrain is mostly flat.
9. Pilgrims acknowledge that the Kirup Camino passes through farmland and alongside forest which may pose some risk of personal injury and assume all risks that may arise on behalf of themselves.
10. The event will go ahead regardless of the weather, unless there is a severe weather warning issued by the Bureau of Meteorology for Thursday 1 October 2026. In the event of a severe weather warning being issued, the Kirup Camino will be cancelled.
11. Any data collected will not be used for marketing purposes. Catholic Mission is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 for any data collected.
