Fundraising Event Terms and Conditions
1. Purpose of the Event
This Event is a fundraising activity organised by the Australian Palestinian Community Association Inc. (APCA). Funds raised from this Event will be directed to charitable organisations that provide essential care, assistance, and support to orphaned children and people living with disabilities affected by the war and humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The funds will contribute towards humanitarian programs and services, including healthcare, rehabilitation, education, psychosocial support, and other initiatives aimed at improving the well-being and quality of life of vulnerable individuals and families impacted by the crisis.
2. Ticket Sales and Refunds
* All ticket purchases are final.
* Refunds will only be provided if the organiser cancels the Event.
* If a ticket holder is unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another person by notifying the organiser before the Event.
* Any booking fees charged by TryBooking may be non-refundable in accordance with TryBooking policies.
3. Event Changes
* APCA reserves the right to make changes to the event program, speakers, performers, venue, or schedule where necessary.
* Any significant changes will be communicated to ticket holders as soon as practicable.
4. Cancellation or Postponement
* If the Event is cancelled, ticket holders will be notified and provided with information regarding refunds or alternative arrangements.
* If the Event is postponed, purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date unless otherwise advised.
5. Photography and Media Consent
* Photographs, video recordings, and audio recordings may be taken during the Event.
* By attending the Event, attendees consent to the use of their image, voice, and likeness in APCA publications, promotional materials, websites, social media platforms, and future communications without compensation.
* Attendees who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should notify event organisers upon arrival.
6. Donations and Fundraising
* Ticket purchases and additional donations made during the Event support the humanitarian fundraising objectives of APCA.
* APCA will endeavour to distribute funds raised to reputable charitable organisations and humanitarian initiatives that align with the stated purpose of the Event.
* The allocation and distribution of funds remain at the discretion of APCA, subject to applicable Australian laws, regulatory requirements, and due diligence processes.
7. Behaviour and Conduct
* Attendees are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and appropriately throughout the Event.
* APCA reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is disruptive, offensive, threatening, unlawful, or detrimental to the safety and enjoyment of others.
* No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
8. Liability
* Attendees participate in the Event at their own risk.
* To the fullest extent permitted by law, APCA, its committee members, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and representatives shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, theft, or expense incurred as a result of attending the Event.
9. Health and Safety
* Attendees must comply with all venue rules, safety requirements, and lawful directions issued by event organisers.
* APCA reserves the right to implement additional health and safety measures where required.
10. Privacy
* Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for event administration, communication, fundraising activities, and APCA-related purposes.
* APCA will manage personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy legislation and will not sell personal information to third parties.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket and attending this Event, attendees acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
