Social Sojourn Club - Colour & Croissants Event
Terms & Conditions:
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending this event, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Ticket Purchase
* A valid ticket is required for entry.
* Tickets are non-transferable unless approved by Social Sojourn Club.
* Tickets may not be resold for commercial purposes without written permission.
2. No Refund Policy
* All ticket sales are final.
* No refunds will be provided for:
* Change of mind
* Illness or injury
* Personal scheduling conflicts
* Late arrival
* Failure to attend
* Weather (unless the event is cancelled by Social Sojourn Club)
If you cannot attend, you may contact us to request a ticket transfer. Transfers are at the sole discretion of Social Sojourn Club and are not guaranteed.
If Social Sojourn Club cancels the event, attendees will be offered either:
* a full refund; or
* an alternative event date or credit, where applicable.
If the event must be postponed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including venue issues, severe weather affecting operations, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events), tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event. If you are unable to attend the new date, we will advise the available options.
3. Event Changes
Social Sojourn Club reserves the right to:
* change the venue within the local area
* change the event duration
* substitute products or refreshments
* modify activities
* replace hosts
* adjust seating arrangements
where reasonably necessary.
Such changes do not entitle ticket holders to a refund.
4. Early Bird Promotion
The Early Bird Bonus is available only to tickets purchased before Tuesday, 30 June 2026 at 11:59 PM (AEST).
Eligible attendees will receive one complimentary mug.
If the advertised croissant-themed mug is unavailable due to supplier availability, stock limitations or other unforeseen circumstances, Social Sojourn Club reserves the right to substitute it with another mug of equal or greater value.
No cash alternative is available.
5. Food & Beverage
Your ticket includes a croissant and tea.
Food is supplied in good faith; however:
* attendees are responsible for determining whether the food is suitable for their own dietary requirements
* ingredients may contain or have come into contact with common allergens including, but not limited to, wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, sesame, tree nuts and peanuts
* Social Sojourn Club cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment
If you have allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements, please contact us before purchasing your ticket to determine whether suitable options may be available.
By consuming food or beverages provided at the event, attendees acknowledge they do so at their own discretion.
6. Health & Safety
Attendees agree to:
* take reasonable care for their own safety
* follow all reasonable directions from event hosts
* use painting materials responsibly
* immediately notify organisers of any hazards, accidents or injuries
7. Painting Materials
The event includes acrylic paints and art materials.
Attendees are responsible for exercising reasonable care when using these materials.
Social Sojourn Club is not responsible for damage to clothing, bags, footwear, mobile phones or personal belongings caused during normal participation.
We recommend wearing clothing suitable for painting.
8. Personal Property
Attendees are responsible for their own belongings.
Social Sojourn Club accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal property.
9. Behaviour
To ensure a welcoming environment for everyone, attendees must behave respectfully.
Social Sojourn Club reserves the right to refuse entry or ask an attendee to leave if they:
* behave aggressively
* harass or intimidate others
* discriminate against others
* are intoxicated
* create an unsafe or disruptive environment
* deliberately damage property
Removal from the event will not entitle the attendee to a refund.
10. Photography & Social Media
Photographs and short videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes.
By attending, you consent to your image being captured and used by Social Sojourn Club in print, online and social media marketing without compensation.
If you prefer not to appear in photographs, please notify the event host upon arrival and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
11. Donations to Animal Rescue
A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to a local animal rescue organisation.
The donation amount is determined by Social Sojourn Club and may vary between events.
12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Social Sojourn Club is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from attendance at the event.
Attendees participate voluntarily and acknowledge that, while reasonable care is taken to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, participation involves ordinary risks associated with attending a community event.
13. Force Majeure
Social Sojourn Club is not liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
* severe weather
* natural disasters
* public health emergencies
* government restrictions
* venue closures
* supplier failures
* transport disruptions
* power outages
14. Privacy
Personal information collected during ticket purchase will only be used for event administration and communication in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
