# RUMBIA 2027 – Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a ticket to Rumbia 2027, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
## 1. Ticket Purchases
Please purchase your ticket carefully.
By completing your purchase, you are securing a place at a limited-capacity event. Your ticket represents a commitment to attend and reserves a position that cannot be sold to another participant once allocations are reached.
If you believe your plans are likely to change, or you are uncertain whether you will be able to attend, we strongly recommend waiting until your plans are confirmed before purchasing a ticket.

## 2. Refund Policy
**ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL.**
Rumbia has a **strict no-refund policy**.
Refunds will not be provided for, including but not limited to:
* Change of mind
* Illness or injury
* Travel delays or cancellations
* Visa issues
* Work or family commitments
* Scheduling conflicts
* Personal circumstances
* Failure to attend part or all of the event
* Dissatisfaction with personal scheduling decisions
By purchasing a ticket, you accept the risk that unforeseen circumstances may prevent your attendance.

## 3. Transfers & Changes
Ticket transfers, stream changes, or other booking amendments are **not guaranteed**.
Any request for a transfer or booking change will be considered solely at the discretion of the Rumbia Festival organisers.
If approved, **all changes will incur a non-negotiable AUD $100 administration fee per booking.**
This fee covers administrative processing, payment reconciliation, ticket reallocation and associated event management costs.
The organisers reserve the right to decline any transfer or amendment request for any reason.

## 4. Event Changes
The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the festival program at any time.
This may include changes to:
* Artists
* DJs
* Instructors
* Workshop schedules
* Competition formats
* Venues
* Performance line-ups
* Timetables
* Room allocations
* Event activities
Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.

## 5. Artist Cancellations
While every effort is made to present the advertised program, artists may occasionally cancel due to illness, travel disruptions, emergencies or circumstances beyond the organisers' control.
The festival experience extends beyond any individual artist, and artist substitutions or timetable adjustments do not entitle ticket holders to refunds or compensation.

## 6. Photography & Videography
Rumbia is a public event.
By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded during workshops, performances, competitions and social events.
These images and recordings may be used by Rumbia for promotional, marketing and educational purposes without compensation.

## 7. Code of Conduct
Rumbia is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
Participants are expected to treat fellow dancers, artists, volunteers, venue staff and organisers with respect at all times.
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, aggressive behaviour, unwanted physical contact or any behaviour deemed inappropriate by the organisers will not be tolerated.
Anyone engaging in unacceptable behaviour may be removed from the event without refund.

## 8. Assumption of Risk
Latin dancing is a physical activity involving movement, balance, lifting, spinning, partnerwork and physical contact.
Participation carries inherent risks including, but not limited to:
* Slips or falls
* Muscle strains
* Sprains
* Joint injuries
* Cuts or bruises
* Collisions with other participants
* Existing injuries being aggravated
* Other unforeseen injuries
By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks.

## 9. Medical Responsibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.
If you have any medical condition, injury or health concern that may affect your participation, you should seek advice from a qualified medical professional before attending.
You agree to participate only within your own physical abilities.

## 10. Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and discharge Rumbia Festival, its directors, organisers, staff, volunteers, contractors, instructors, artists, sponsors and venue partners from any liability for:
* Personal injury
* Illness
* Death
* Loss or damage to personal property
* Theft
* Travel expenses
* Accommodation expenses
* Financial loss
* Any indirect or consequential loss arising from attendance at the festival.
You acknowledge that participation is entirely voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

## 11. Personal Property
Attendees are responsible for their own belongings.
The organisers accept no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal items.

## 12. Event Cancellation
Should the event be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organisers' reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, venue closures or force majeure), the organisers will determine an appropriate course of action in accordance with applicable Australian law.
The organisers are not responsible for any travel, accommodation or other incidental expenses incurred by attendees.

## 13. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket and attending Rumbia 2027, you confirm that:
* You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
* You voluntarily accept all associated risks.
* You agree to comply with all festival policies and directions issued by organisers and venue staff.
* You understand and accept the strict no-refund policy.
* You understand that any approved booking changes will incur a AUD $100 administration fee.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
