I agree to abide by the Rules of the Upper Hunter Working Equitation Club Incorporated and Working Equitation Down Under Incorporated.

I understand that my membership is valid for 12 months from July 1 to June 30 and that I am entitled to member’s rates at all Upper Hunter Working Equitation Inc events within this period.

Please note that all members are expected to help at competitions and other club events during the year as part of their membership.

A friend or relative can also provide help in your place. Jobs are many and varied, for varying lengths of time

(a whole day is appreciated but not required).

We cannot run events without your help!



Release and Waiver of Liability

Horse Sports are a Dangerous Activity

I understand and acknowledge that horse sports are a dangerous activity and that horses can act in a sudden and unpredictable (changeable) way, especially if frightened or hurt.

I understand and acknowledge that serious INJURY or DEATH may result from horse sport activities and in particular from events in which I participate. I agree that I PARTICIPATE at my OWN RISK.

I agree not to drink alcohol or take drugs prohibited by law before or during competition.

Effect of this Document

I understand that by agreeing to this document constitutes a complete and unconditional release of all liability to Equestrian Australia Ltd including all of its state bodies, coaches and affiliated clubs, to the greatest extent allowed by law in the event of me and/or the children under my care, suffering injury or death.

Neither the Organising Committee of any event to which these rules apply nor Equestrian Australia accepts any liability for any accident, damage, injury, or illness to horses, riders, ground, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.
