Sound Healing Journey – Terms & Conditions

By booking and attending a Sound Healing Journey facilitated by SimShakti Yoga, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Participation

Participation in this Sound Healing Journey is voluntary. By attending, you confirm that you are physically and mentally able to participate and accept full responsibility for your own health and wellbeing throughout the session.

2. Medical Disclaimer

Sound healing is a complementary wellness practice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or psychological condition. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you have any concerns regarding your health, you should consult your doctor or other qualified healthcare professional before participating.

3. Health Conditions

You agree to inform the facilitator prior to the session if you have any medical conditions that may affect your participation, including but not limited to:

Epilepsy or seizure disorders

Pregnancy (particularly the first trimester)

A pacemaker or other implanted medical device

Severe mental health conditions

Recent surgery or serious injury

Hearing conditions or sound sensitivities

Any other condition that may be affected by sound, vibration, meditation or extended relaxation.

The facilitator reserves the right to recommend that you do not participate if it is considered unsafe to do so.

4. Personal Responsibility

You agree to listen to your body throughout the session and to modify your participation or leave the session if you experience discomfort, distress or any adverse symptoms.

5. Assumption of Risk

While every effort is made to provide a safe and supportive environment, participation involves inherent risks associated with relaxation, meditation, sound frequencies and movement.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending the session.

6. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless SimShakti Yoga, its facilitators, assistants and venue owners from any liability, claims, demands, actions, damages, losses or expenses arising from injury, illness, allergic reaction, emotional response, property damage or loss sustained before, during or after the session, except where caused by negligence that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

7. Personal Property

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings. SimShakti Yoga accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal items brought to the venue.

8. Behaviour

Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards facilitators, other attendees and the venue. Anyone behaving in a manner that compromises the safety or enjoyment of others may be asked to leave without refund.

9. Cancellation Policy

Bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person with prior notice. If the event is cancelled by the organiser, participants will be offered a transfer to another event or a full refund.

10. Photography

Photographs or videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any images, please notify the facilitator before the session begins.

11. Privacy

Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for administration of the event and will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.

12. Acceptance

By booking and attending this Sound Healing Journey, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to participate voluntarily and at your own risk.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
