If you have trialled or registered with another Nation competing in The Challenge of the Nations this year before this event, you are not eligible to trial and register for Queensland Samoa Netball Inc.
Queensland Samoa Netball Inc is not responsible to cover medical insurance for players trialling at this event.
Trial selection: We will take your preference into consideration. Final placements will either be in a competitive or development team.
Photography Policy
7.7.1. 7.7.2. Where such orders are in place for specific instances related to child custody matters, wards of state, restraining orders and witness protection, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian or individual to notify Nations’ Representatives or COTNN Event Organisers. In such cases, COTNN & Nations’ Representative will use its best endeavours to prevent the taking of images.
7.7.3. Where a photographer / videographer has been contracted to acquire images of individuals or teams for the purpose of selling images to participants or interested persons, the contractor is required to be suitably identifiable and provide their Blue Card. Nations’ Representatives and COTNN Event Organisers are obliged to advise the contractor of any limitations as prescribed by a court order or law.
7.7.4. There are no restrictions on parents, guardians and/or family members taking photos or video footage of their children participating in COTNN provided the images are for personal use and do not encroach the exceptions outlined in 7.5.3.
7.7.5. Where an individual is believed to be inappropriately photographing any person at the COTNN: Inform an Official. Ask the individual to cease taking photos or video footage. If the individual does not cease, call the local Police.
7.7.6. Photography or video footage may be deemed inappropriate when it is: indecent, provocative or overtly sexual, defamatory, the person is protected by a court order, or being used for commercial

7.6.3.1. Any social media posts that facilitate anti-social, inappropriate, abusive, threatening
and/or illegal behaviour and activities may attract one or more of the following penalties: a warning; suspension; disqualification; and/or legal action.
COTNN and EANMAQ encourage the Nations to use social media to promote and report to players, coaches, members, and stakeholders about the event, by following guidelines for responsible social media use.
COTNN and EANMA-o-Q Inc encourages the use of social media that includes or promotes the COTNN Mission Statement and Values (see Section ii): respect, encouragement, inclusivity, and integrity.

Player: Codes of Conduct
This Code of Conduct aims to set out the minimum standards for anyone involved in Challenge of the Nations Netball and applies to Players, Coaches, Officials, Administrators, Parents/Guardians and Spectators taking part in Challenge of the Nations Netball sanctioned activities.
▪ Act within the rules and spirit of your sport.
▪ Promote fair play over winning at any cost.
▪ Encourage and support opportunities for people to learn appropriate behaviours and skills.
▪ Support opportunities for participation in all aspects of the sport.
▪ Treat each person as an individual.
▪ Show respect and courtesy to all involved with the sport.
▪ Respect the rights and worth of every person, regardless of their age, race, gender, ability,
cultural background, sexuality or religion.
▪ Respect the decisions of officials, coaches and administrators.
▪ Wherever practical, avoid unaccompanied and unobserved one-on-one activity (when in a
supervisory capacity or where a power imbalance exists) with people under the age of 18.
▪ Display appropriate and responsible behaviour in all interactions.
▪ Display responsible behaviour in relation to alcohol and other drugs.
▪ Act with integrity and objectivity and accept responsibility for your decisions and actions.
▪ Ensure your decisions and actions contribute to a safe environment.
▪ Ensure your decisions and actions contribute to a harassment-free environment.
▪ Do not tolerate abusive, bullying or threatening behaviour.
7.8.1. Players
▪ Give your best at all times.
▪ Participate for your own enjoyment and benefit.
▪ Play by the rules and show respect for other players, coaches and officials.
7.8.2. Coaches
▪ Place the safety and welfare of the athletes above all else.
▪ Help each person (player, official, etc.) to reach their potential. Respect the talent,
developmental stage and goals of each person and encourage them with positive and
constructive feedback.
▪ Obtain appropriate qualifications and keep up-to-date with the latest coaching practices and
the principles of growth and development of young players.
▪ Ensure that any physical contact with another person is appropriate to the situation and
necessary for the person's skill development.
7.8.3. Officials
▪ Place the safety and welfare of the athletes above all else.
▪ Ensure all players are included and can participate, regardless of their race, gender, ability,
cultural background, sexuality or religion.
▪ Be consistent, impartial and objective when making decisions.
▪ Address unsporting behaviour and promote respect for other players and officials.
7.8.4. Administrators
▪ Ensure quality supervision and instruction for players.
▪ Support coaches and officials to improve their skills and competencies.
▪ Act honestly, in good faith and in the best interests of the sport as a whole.
▪ Ensure that any information acquired or advantage gained from the position is not used
improperly.
▪ Conduct club responsibilities with due care, competence and diligence.
7.8.5. Parents/Guardians
▪ Encourage your child to participate, do their best and have fun.
▪ Focus on your child's effort and performance rather than winning or losing.
▪ Never ridicule or yell at a child for making a mistake or losing a competition.
▪ Help out the coach or officials at training and games, where possible.
▪ Model appropriate behaviour, including respect for other players and officials.
7.8.6. Spectators
▪ Respect the effort and performances of players and officials.
▪ Reject the use of harassment, bullying or violence in any form, whether by other spectators,
coaches, officials or players.

I, the Player hereby declare the information I have completed is correct and authorise Enuamanu-Atiu-Nui-Maruarua Association-O-Queensland Inc and its employees to act on my behalf should I require medical attention.
I agree to adhere to Enuamanu-Atiu-Nui-Maruarua Association-O-Queensland Inc Competition rules, policies and procedures and be bound by its terms and conditions.
