These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of tickets for Mullum Roots Festival.
By purchasing or using a ticket you agree to these Terms.
Definitions
“Ticket” means any admission ticket, pass, wristband or e-ticket for the Festival.
“Purchaser” or “You” means the person who purchases or holds a Ticket.
Ticket Purchase & Payment
Tickets are sold subject to availability. All purchases are subject to payment authorisation.
Prices are those displayed at time of purchase and include GST where applicable. Service, transaction and delivery fees may apply.
We may limit the number of Tickets per person.
Confirmation & Delivery
A tax invoice/receipt will be issued electronically on successful payment. E-tickets/wristband collection details will be provided via email.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact details. We are not liable for missed communications due to incorrect details.
Entry Conditions
Presentation of a valid Ticket (electronic or physical) is required for entry. Tickets must be worn/used as instructed and remain intact.
Tickets are valid only for the date, time and session specified.
Entry may be refused if you are intoxicated, under the influence of illegal drugs, behave anti‑socially, or breach these Terms.
Age Restrictions & Identification
Age restrictions (if any) will be specified at time of sale. Valid government-issued photo ID may be required.
Children must be accompanied by an adult where specified.
Transfers, Resale & Fraud
Tickets are personal, non-transferable unless otherwise stated. Transfers may require Promoter approval and may incur fees.
Resale above the original face value or on unauthorised platforms is prohibited. Tickets suspected to be fraudulently obtained or resold may be cancelled without refund.
Refunds, Exchanges & Cancellations
Subject to these Terms and Australian Consumer Law (ACL), Tickets are non-refundable except where: a) the event is cancelled (see clause 9); or b) ACL or other applicable law gives you a statutory right to a refund.
If the Festival is cancelled, we will provide refunds or credit options as notified. If the Festival is postponed, Tickets will generally remain valid for the rescheduled date; refunds may be offered at Promoter’s discretion or if required by law.
Minor changes to line‑ups, running times, venue or production do not entitle you to a refund.
Cancellation, Postponement & Line‑up Changes
The Promoter may cancel, postpone, alter or reschedule the Festival for any reason (including weather, safety, acts of God, or government directions). Where possible we will notify Ticket holders and provide options per clause 8.
Artists and line‑ups are subject to change. We are not liable for any loss resulting from line‑up changes.
Safety, Searches & Prohibited Items
For safety and security we may conduct bag checks, metal detection and pat-downs. Refusal may result in denied entry.
Prohibited items (e.g., illegal drugs, weapons, glass, unauthorised food/drink, oversized flags) will be listed on the Festival website and signage. Confiscation may occur without refund.
Health & COVID-19
You must not attend if you have symptoms of infectious illness or are subject to public health orders preventing attendance.
We may implement public health measures (vaccination proof, testing, mask mandates) as required. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry without refund.
Conduct & Removal
You must comply with staff, security and venue rules and directions. Anti‑social, violent, discriminatory or illegal behaviour may result in removal without refund and possible reporting to authorities.
Liability & Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited. Under ACL you have certain non‑excludable rights (e.g., guarantees as to acceptable quality, fitness for purpose). Where permitted, our liability for breach is limited to (at our option) resupply of services, replacement of Tickets, or refund of the Ticket price.
You indemnify the Promoter against damage, loss or injury caused by your negligent or intentional acts.
Personal Property & Photography
You are responsible for your belongings. We are not liable for loss or theft.
By entering the Festival, you consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded and agree such material may be used for promotional purposes without payment, unless otherwise stated.
Privacy
We collect and use your personal information to process purchases, provide services and send communications. Our Privacy Policy [link] explains how we handle data, access requests and opt‑outs.
Accessibility & Special Needs
Accessibility information and assistance requests should be submitted before the event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate.
Intellectual Property
All Festival branding, logos, content and recordings are Promoter property. Unauthorised commercial use is prohibited.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control (including extreme weather, strikes, government action, epidemic/pandemic).
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia. Disputes will be subject to the relevant courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on our website at the time of purchase applies.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
