Bollywood Sunset Social
By purchasing a ticket to Bollywood Sunset Social, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Ticket Purchase
Tickets must be purchased through the official TryBooking event page. Entry is valid only with a confirmed booking or valid ticket.
2. Ticket Price
The ticket price is $150 per person.
TryBooking transaction, credit card, booking, and processing fees may apply and are charged separately.
3. Age Restriction
This is a strictly 18+ event.
Valid photo identification may be required at entry and when purchasing or receiving alcoholic beverages.
Guests who cannot provide valid identification may be refused entry without a refund.
4. Event Inclusions
The ticket includes:
• Entry to Bollywood Sunset Social
• Live DJ entertainment
• Buffet dinner
• Indian food and canapés
• Three-hour beverage package
• Mehendi station
• Dance area
• Media wall and photo opportunities
5. Beverage Package
The three-hour beverage package includes selected beers, wines, soft drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages provided by the venue during the nominated service period.
Beverage selections are determined by the venue and may change without notice.
Alcohol will be served in accordance with Queensland liquor licensing laws and Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements.
The venue may refuse alcohol service to any guest who appears intoxicated, behaves inappropriately, or does not meet identification requirements.
6. Buffet and Dietary Requirements
Food will be served as a buffet.
Guests cannot select individual meals or request customised dishes at the venue.
Guests with food allergies or dietary requirements must contact the organiser before purchasing a ticket to confirm whether suitable buffet options may be available.
While reasonable care will be taken, the organiser, venue, and caterers cannot guarantee:
• An allergen-free environment
• Separate food preparation areas
• Prevention of cross-contamination
• Availability of customised dietary meals
Guests are responsible for checking the suitability of buffet items before consumption.
7. Refund Policy
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to gopiocairns@gmail.com.
The following refund conditions apply:
• More than 14 days before the event: Eligible for a refund of the ticket price.
• Between 7 and 14 days before the event: Eligible for a maximum refund of 50% of the ticket price.
• Within 7 days of the event: No refund will be provided.
TryBooking transaction, credit card, booking, and processing fees may apply and may not be refundable.
No refund will be provided for:
• Change of mind
• Non-attendance
• Late arrival
• Illness
• Transport or accommodation issues
• Failure to meet age or identification requirements
• Failure to comply with venue rules
• Removal from the event due to intoxication or inappropriate behaviour
These conditions do not exclude any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Ticket Transfers
Ticket transfers may be accepted at the organiser’s discretion.
Transfer requests must be submitted before the event and include:
• Original purchaser’s name
• Booking details
• Replacement guest’s full name
• Replacement guest’s contact details
The organiser may refuse a transfer request if insufficient notice is provided.
9. Event Changes
The organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:
• Event timing
• Entertainment
• DJ schedule
• Food menu
• Beverage selections
• Venue layout
• Activities
• Event inclusions
Reasonable event changes do not automatically entitle ticket holders to a refund.
10. Cancellation or Postponement
If the event is cancelled or postponed, ticket holders will be contacted using the details provided at the time of booking.
Refund, transfer, or rescheduling arrangements will be provided in accordance with applicable law and TryBooking requirements.
11. Photography and Video
Photography and video recording may take place during the event for promotional, marketing, media, archival, and community purposes.
By attending, guests consent to appearing in event photographs and recordings.
Guests who do not wish to be photographed should notify the organiser or photographer at the event.
12. Behaviour and Right of Entry
The organiser and venue reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any guest who:
• Is intoxicated
• Behaves aggressively or abusively
• Creates a safety risk
• Damages property
• Harasses other guests, staff, volunteers, or suppliers
• Fails to follow venue instructions
• Breaches liquor licensing requirements
No refund will be provided where entry is refused or a guest is removed for these reasons.
13. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.
The organiser and venue are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
14. Health and Safety
Guests must follow all reasonable safety instructions issued by the organiser, venue staff, security personnel, and authorised suppliers.
Guests must not enter restricted areas, including pool areas, service areas, kitchens, DJ equipment areas, or supplier workspaces unless authorised.
15. Liability
Guests attend the event at their own risk.
The organiser, venue, caterers, suppliers, staff, and volunteers are not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, or expense except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
