Terms & Conditions of Ticket Purchase and Event Attendance:

By purchasing a ticket for, or attending, NSU Alumni Soirée 2026, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. IMPORTANT – Eligibility to Purchase Tickets and Attend
NSU Alumni Soirée 2026 is a private event exclusively for North South University (NSU) alumni and their immediate family members. Members of the general public are not eligible to purchase tickets or attend the Event.
By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you are either an NSU alumnus/alumna or an immediate family member (spouse/partner, parent, child or sibling) of an NSU alumnus/alumna.
The Organiser may verify eligibility before or during the Event and request reasonable evidence of NSU affiliation (e.g. student/alumni ID, graduation certificate, transcript or similar documentation) together with government-issued photo identification.
Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result, at the Organiser's sole discretion, in ticket cancellation, refusal of entry, or removal from the venue without refund. The Organiser's decision regarding eligibility and admission is final.

2. Event Organiser
NSU Alumni Soirée 2026 is organised and presented by the NSU Alumni Association Australia (NSUAAA). Ticketing may be facilitated by an authorised ticketing partner.

3. Ticket Purchase & Pricing
All prices are in AUD. Booking or payment processing fees may apply. Tickets are issued electronically. Promotional pricing may change without notice and no retrospective adjustments will be made.

4. Refund, Transfer & Event Changes
Tickets are generally non-refundable except as required under Australian Consumer Law. The Organiser may change the date, venue, program or seating where reasonably necessary. If the Event is cancelled and not rescheduled, the face value of the ticket will be refunded.

5. Admission
A valid ticket is required. The Organiser and venue reserve the right of admission. Late entry may be delayed to minimise disruption.

6. Organiser's Right to Refuse Entry or Remove Attendees
The Organiser reserves the absolute right to refuse admission to, or remove from the Event, any person whose attendance or conduct is considered inconsistent with the purpose, safety, security or integrity of the Event. This includes, but is not limited to, persons who fail to satisfy the eligibility requirements, engage in inappropriate or disruptive behaviour, or fail to comply with directions given by the Organiser or venue staff. Such action may be taken without refund where permitted by law.

7. Dress Code
Formal evening attire is expected. Theme: 'Behind the Masks, Beyond the Years'. Masquerade masks are encouraged.

8. Behaviour & Code of Conduct
Guests must behave respectfully and comply with all lawful directions. Disruptive, abusive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal without refund.

9. Food & Dietary Requirements
Guests should advise dietary requirements before the RSVP deadline. While reasonable efforts will be made, an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.

10. Children
Children are welcome where a valid ticket has been purchased. Parents or guardians remain responsible for supervision.

11. Photography & Media
Attendance constitutes consent to photography and videography for promotional, marketing, editorial and archival purposes without compensation.

12. Health & Safety
Attendees must comply with venue rules and applicable health and safety requirements.

13. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not liable for loss of personal property or indirect losses. Liability is limited as required by law.

14. Force Majeure
The Organiser is not responsible for cancellation or disruption caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

15. Privacy
Personal information will be used for event administration and managed in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.

16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

17. Table Bookings & Seating Arrangements
Seating requests will be accommodated where reasonably possible but cannot be guaranteed. The Organiser may reassign seats or tables where necessary.

18. Lost Property
The Organiser and venue are not responsible for lost or stolen belongings. Found property will be retained where practicable for a reasonable period.

19. Amendments
The Organiser may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated Terms become effective upon publication.
