Workshop Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a ticket to this workshop and attending it, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the below terms and conditions. Please review these carefully and contact Hala Loubser and/or Cherie Chugg ("the Event Organisers") if you have any concerns or questions.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
This workshop is general and arts-based in nature. It does not constitute, and does not replace, individualised professional advice. You acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and that you understand the nature and limitations of the content being presented.
2. EVENT ORGANISERS’ ROLE AND SCOPE OF PRACTICE
The Event Organisers are not qualified health professionals of any kind and are not qualified to diagnose, treat or manage any medical, psychological or other conditions of any kind. Participation in this workshop does not establish a client-caregiver or therapeutic relationship.
3. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE
All information provided in connection with the workshop — whether verbally, in writing or through any other format — is general in nature. It does not constitute medical, psychological, therapeutic or other professional advice, nor is it a substitute for professional consultation and care. You are encouraged to seek the advice of appropriately qualified healthcare professionals regarding your specific situation.
4. NO GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES
No warranties or guarantees are made in connection with the workshop.
5. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for how you use the information provided in connection with the workshop. The Event Organisers assume no responsibility or liability for any decisions, actions or outcomes that arise out of or in connection with your attendance at the workshop.
6. RESPONSIBILITY FOR SAFETY
(A) You are responsible for ensuring your own personal safety during the workshop and you must take all reasonable precautions to prevent injury or harm to yourself and to others. This includes taking care to avoid trips, slips, falls or any physical strain.
(B) Participation in any exercise or activity forming part of the workshop is entirely optional and should only be undertaken within your personal limits. It is your responsibility to consider your personal situation before engaging in any aspect of the workshop and to consult a qualified health professional prior to participating if required or advisable. You accept full responsibility for your physical and emotional wellbeing in connection with the workshop.
(C) You agree to use all art and other materials provided by the Event Organisers for use in the workshop safely and responsibly. You are responsible for disclosing any dietary requirements and known allergies (e.g., to paints, glues, mediums or otherwise) to the Event Organisers in writing prior to the workshop.
7. TICKET SALES AND REFUND POLICY
(A) All ticket sales are final.
(B) No refunds will be issued except solely at the discretion of the Event Organisers.
(C) Tickets are non-transferable unless written approval is granted by the Event Organisers prior to the event.
8. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
(A) Any sensitive information shared by participants during the workshop is to be treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality by all in attendance. However, this is not a clinical or therapeutic session and you acknowledge that no formal records are maintained by the Event Organisers.
(B) The Event Organisers may take photographs or videos during the workshop for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant permission for your image to be used. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify the Event Organisers before the workshop begins, and we will ensure you are excluded.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
You must not copy, record, distribute or reuse any content or information delivered at the workshop without the Event Organisers’ express written permission.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Event Organisers expressly disclaim any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or harm of any nature arising out of or in connection with your attendance at, participation in and use of any information shared in this workshop. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Event Organisers from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, expenses or losses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with the workshop.
11. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
You agree to participate respectfully and in a manner that supports a safe, inclusive and confidential environment. The Event Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry at their sole discretion or to remove a participant from the workshop (without refund) if their conduct is considered by the Event Organisers to be disruptive, harmful or disrespectful to others.
12. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
The Event Organisers reserve the right to modify or cancel the workshop in the event of illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstance. In the case of cancellation by the Event Organisers, a full refund or rescheduling option will be provided.
13. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these terms and conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable. If modification is not possible, the offending provision shall be severed from these terms and conditions, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
