If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking as soon as possible. Tales with Tails is a high-demand program and no-shows have a real impact, so please consider others and let us know if you are unable to attend.
Please aim to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled session. Sessions run to a set timetable, so if you arrive after your allocated start time, your booking may be forfeited.
A parent or guardian must remain with the participating child for the duration of the session.
Please follow the guidance of library staff and the therapy dog handler to help ensure a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for everyone.
While we don't anticipate any changes, Glen Eira Libraries reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions if unforeseen circumstances arise.
To give everyone a chance to participate, each participant may book one (1) 20-minute session per program day. If multiple sessions are booked for the same participant on the same day, Glen Eira Libraries may cancel the additional bookings.
PERMISSION FORM: (first-time participants only):
If this is your first Tales with Tails session, you'll shortly receive a Permission Form for review and signing through Glen Eira City Council's Secure Signing system.
This form must be completed before your child can participate, and your booking is not confirmed until we have received the completed form. We encourage you to complete it before the day of your session. If you prefer to complete it on arrival, please allow enough time before your scheduled session begins.
