By purchasing a grading booking, you agree to receive information regarding Acrobatic Level Gradings and other Lee Academy promotions via email from the organiser.
Medical Emergencies
Lee Academy's policy is to contact emergency services in the event of a medical emergency. Any costs associated with ambulance services are the responsibility of the participant, or the participant's Parent/Legal Guardian if the participant is under 18 years of age.
Release of Liability, Waiver of Liability & Assumption of Risk
The participant, or the participant's Parent/Legal Guardian (if the participant is under 18 years of age), gives consent for the student to participate in the Acrobatic Level Grading.
The participant, or the participant's Parent/Legal Guardian (if the participant is under 18 years of age), understands that Lee Academy's intent is to provide a safe and supportive environment for all students. However, participation in acrobatics, gymnastics, tumbling, power tumbling, cheerleading, aerial arts, trapeze, rope climbing, aerobic activities, trampolining, performing on stage, and performing or dancing with or around props and related activities involves inherent risks due to the heights, movements, and physical demands involved.
These risks may include muscle strains and tears, broken bones, and more serious injuries, including permanent paralysis or death. Participation in Acrobatic Level Gradings is undertaken with the understanding that involvement is entirely at the participant's own risk.
The participant, or the participant's Parent/Legal Guardian (if the participant is under 18 years of age), hereby waives any claims or causes of action for death, personal injury, property damage, or otherwise that may arise against Lee Academy as a result of participation in Lee Academy classes, training, or Acrobatic Level Gradings.
The participant, or the participant's Parent/Legal Guardian (if the participant is under 18 years of age), further agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lee Academy, its Directors, staff, adjudicators, host venue owners, funding bodies, and associated representatives from and against all claims, judgments, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from participation in any Lee Academy activity.
The participant, or the participant's Parent/Legal Guardian (if the participant is under 18 years of age), grants Lee Academy the exclusive right to photograph and/or video record the participant and to utilise the participant's name, image, voice, and appearance in Lee Academy advertising, promotional materials, and publications.
Lee Academy Acrobatic Level Grading Booking Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a grading booking or attending an Acrobatic Level Grading organised by Lee Academy.
1. Grading Bookings and Participation
Grading bookings are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participants must have a valid booking completed through TryBooking to be eligible for grading.
Lee Academy reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any attendee who breaches these Terms and Conditions or disrupts the grading process.
2. Refunds and Cancellations
Grading bookings are non-refundable, except in the event of cancellation by Lee Academy.
If Lee Academy cancels a grading event, participants will be offered a credit valid for 12 months from the date of the cancelled grading.
No refunds will be provided for change of mind or inability to attend. In the event of a medical emergency, a credit may be issued upon production of supporting evidence.
3. Grading Policies
Participants and families must adhere to all rules and regulations outlined in the current Lee Academy Handbook and Terms & Conditions of Membership.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, weapons, illegal substances, and outside food or beverages.
Lee Academy reserves the right to inspect attendees and their belongings upon entry to the premises if required.
4. Liability Waiver
Participants take part in Acrobatic Level Gradings at their own risk.
Lee Academy is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the grading event, except where caused by negligence or wilful misconduct.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the administration and organisation of Acrobatic Level Gradings and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
6. Force Majeure
Lee Academy is not liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, government regulations, or other unforeseen events.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through consultation with Lee Academy and with reference to the current Lee Academy Handbook and Terms & Conditions of Membership.
8. Updates and Amendments
Lee Academy reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Participants will be notified of significant changes via email or through official Lee Academy communication channels.
By purchasing a grading booking or participating in an Acrobatic Level Grading, participants and their Parent/Legal Guardians acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
