Event Terms & Conditions
By registering for and attending this event, I acknowledge and agree that:
1) Voluntary Participation
I am participating voluntarily and understand that all exercise, assessments, and activities carry an inherent risk of injury.
I accept full responsibility for my participation and agree to exercise within my own physical capabilities.
2)Health Declaration
I confirm that the information provided on this Health Screening Form is true and accurate.
I will immediately notify the event organisers if my health status changes before or during the event.
3)Physiotherapy Services
Any physiotherapy screening, assessment, treatment, or advice provided during this event is intended for general musculoskeletal guidance only and does not replace a comprehensive medical assessment.
If further investigation or treatment is required, I understand I may be advised to seek medical attention from my GP or another healthcare professional.
4)Personal Responsibility
I understand I may stop participating at any time if I experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptoms.
I agree to follow all instructions provided by the event organisers, personal trainers, physiotherapists, and staff.
5)Respectful Behaviour
I agree to behave respectfully towards all participants, staff, volunteers, health professionals, venue personnel, and members of the public.
Harassment, discrimination, aggressive behaviour, abusive language, intoxication, or any conduct that compromises the safety or enjoyment of others will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event without refund (if applicable).
6)Photography & Social Media
I understand photographs and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes.
If I do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, I will advise the event organisers prior to the event.
I understand that photographs and videos may be taken during the event by Viva Active or its authorised representatives for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes, including use on social media, websites, printed materials, and other promotional content.
By attending the event, I consent to the use of my image, likeness, and voice in such material without compensation.
If I do not wish to be photographed or filmed, I understand it is my responsibility to notify the event organisers prior to the commencement of the event. While every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate my request, I acknowledge that complete exclusion from background images in public event settings cannot be guaranteed.
7)Complimentary Coffee
Complimentary coffee is provided subject to availability.
I acknowledge it is my responsibility to advise the café of any allergies or dietary requirements when ordering.
8)Medical Emergency
In the event of an emergency, I authorise appropriately trained personnel to administer first aid and contact emergency services if required.
9)Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, I release and hold harmless Viva Active, Viva Group Holdings Pty Ltd, its directors, employees, contractors, physiotherapists, trainers, volunteers, sponsors, and venue partners from liability for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or expense arising from my participation, except where caused by negligence.
10)Privacy
Personal information collected is used solely for event administration, health and safety purposes, and communication regarding this event. Information will be managed in accordance with applicable Australian privacy legislation.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
