Oaks Day 2026 – Ticket Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a ticket to Oaks Day 2026 at The Grand, the purchaser agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Ticket price and inclusions
Tickets are $170 per person and include the food, beverages, entertainment and other inclusions outlined in the event description. Any products or services not specifically listed as included may be available for purchase separately.
Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind, illness, changes in personal circumstances, travel arrangements or inability to attend.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ticket transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another guest at no additional charge. Any changes to attendee names, dietary requirements or accessibility needs must be provided to The Grand in writing by the nominated cut-off date.
Tickets must not be resold for more than their original purchase price.
Attendee information
The purchaser is responsible for providing accurate information for every attendee included in the booking, including:
Full name
Dietary requirements
Allergy information
Accessibility or mobility requirements
The purchaser is also responsible for ensuring that all attendees in their booking are aware of and agree to these terms and conditions.
Dietary requirements and allergies
Dietary requirements must be submitted during the booking process.
Changes received after the nominated cut-off date may not be able to be accommodated.
The Grand will take reasonable care when preparing and serving food; however, we cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment. Guests with serious or life-threatening allergies should contact The Grand before purchasing a ticket.
Responsible service of alcohol
Oaks Day 2026 is an 18+ event. Guests may be required to provide valid photographic identification.
The Grand practices the responsible service of alcohol and reserves the right to refuse entry, refuse alcohol service or require a guest to leave due to intoxication, unacceptable behaviour, failure to follow staff directions or breaches of liquor-licensing requirements.
No refund will be provided where entry or service is refused for these reasons.
Entry and tickets
Guests must present a valid ticket or booking confirmation for entry.
Lost tickets may only be reissued to the original purchaser after the booking details and identity have been confirmed.
Re-entry is subject to approval by event staff.
Seating and event areas
Oaks Day will operate across the Riverview Room, Caledonia Room and associated indoor and outdoor event areas.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, seating is not allocated or guaranteed. Guests may be required to move between event areas throughout the day.
Arrival and event timing
Guests are encouraged to arrive at the advertised event commencement time.
Late arrivals may miss food service, entertainment, races, prizes or other event inclusions. Missed inclusions due to late arrival will not entitle the guest to a refund or replacement.
Changes to the event
The Grand reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event schedule, entertainment, performers, food offering, beverage selection, race-day programming, room allocation or event format where required.
Such changes will not automatically entitle the ticket holder to a refund unless the event is cancelled or materially changed in circumstances where a remedy is required under Australian Consumer Law.
Cancellation or postponement
If The Grand cancels or materially changes the event, ticket holders will be contacted regarding the available options.
Where an event is postponed or affected by circumstances outside The Grand’s reasonable control, including severe weather, government restrictions, emergencies, supplier failure or performer cancellation, the available remedy may depend on the circumstances and these terms.
Any applicable consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law will continue to apply. Businesses cannot use their terms and conditions to remove statutory consumer rights.
Photography and filming
Photography and video recording may take place during the event and may be used by The Grand for promotional, marketing and social-media purposes.
Guests who do not wish to be photographed should advise event staff upon arrival. While reasonable efforts will be made, The Grand cannot guarantee that guests will not appear incidentally in crowd photographs or footage.
Personal belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. The Grand accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Booking fees
Any TryBooking fees or transaction charges will be displayed during checkout. These fees may be additional to the advertised ticket price unless otherwise stated.
Event communications
The purchaser agrees to receive operational communications relating to Oaks Day 2026, including booking confirmations, attendee information, event updates and important changes.
Consent to receive future promotional marketing from The Grand will be requested separately where applicable.
Acceptance of terms
Completing a ticket purchase confirms that the purchaser has read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of themselves and all attendees included in their booking.
