By purchasing a ticket, you agree to receive information about the Event by email from the Event Organiser.
Mine Site Tour Information:
• Tour buses depart from and return to the Golden Memories Millthorpe Museum
• The mine tour will take approximately 2.5 hours from departure to return.
• Please ensure you arrive at least 15-mins prior to your scheduled bus departure time. Buses
will not wait past their scheduled departure time for latecomers.
• Please ensure you know what name your tickets were booked under and your bus departure time.
We will board visitors using our booking records and buses will depart as close to their scheduled
departure time as possible.
• Tour patrons will receive a free bottle of water upon tour departure. Food will be available at
the Museum (or nearby) before or after your tour but cannot be consumed on buses. If you are on
an afternoon bus tour, we would advise eating before boarding your bus as food vendors
may depart before your bus returns from the mine site.
Terms & Conditions of Participation:
• All visitors must abide by Newmont’s ZERO drug and alcohol site policy.
• Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
• Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the mine site, on the tour buses nor within the
grounds of the Golden Memories Museum.
• All visitors must abide by the directions given to them by their tour guide or any staff member onsite.
• Unruly or obnoxious behaviour will not be tolerated.
• Dogs and pets are not permitted unless they are a guide or assistance dog.
• Visitors must wear long trousers, long sleeve shirt and enclosed shoes (ie. no shorts, skirts, ¾ pants,
sandals, crocs, thongs, singlet tops or similar).
• Entry to the mine for the Open Day is strictly via the tour buses provided from Orange. No private
vehicles will be permitted entry to the mine site.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, visitors participate at their own risk and Newmont
excludes liability for loss of or damage to personal property and for personal injury arising from
participation in the tour, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
